devildog47959 Posted December 14, 2009 Share Posted December 14, 2009 Mac over Willis 1-0 portage up 6-0 wow what a close match.. i heard this willis kid is only a sophmore thats pretty impressive wrestling such a close match against 1 of the best pound 4 pound wrestlers in the state.. good win 4 sean- its good 2 get tested early in the season sure that match gave him some extra motivation i didnt think he would have a match that close all year.. While there were several OW's on the premises on Saturday, the tournament is designed to recognize Outstanding Teams. Mishawaka was the Outstanding Team. Actually, if a wrestler loses consciousness he may not wrestle the rest of the day without clearance from a doctor. Hope he's doing better. Medina wrestled 119 against LN and got the victory and both he and Boston went 5-0 on the day FYI, Ruiz did wrestle up against Boston and he gave it his best. Aurelio started having stomach pains during his Cathedral match and did not wrestle again (3-0). That being said, Boston looked impressive and in my opinion will be a state contender.
