Thats the best thing i've read on this board! Champs are Champs untill some1 beats them this weekend thats when it counts =] and finally someone with a little logic...McMurray is the man and has already wrestled some of the best wrestlers in our state and the no1 kid in illinois...also he proves all the doughters wrong every weekend!!!! idk how you can bet against the kid. and its a message board who cares about spellin =P -
i lost 3-4 my first match against garcia 12/9/09 PHSvsMHS dual 2-12 1/16/10 DAC i made a mistake went to my back it happens didnt know i was wrecked now

Wrestle Backs sound awesome but wouldn't this take away from the sport? "Luck of the Draw" is what every faces. Our coach talks about adversity and dealing with it all the time. i truely believe that one must step on to the mat and wrestle like its the state championship every match. That being said wrestle backs are not needed. Also most wrestlers/spectators do not want to sit in a gym for an extra 3 hours. Wrestling in the Region would make it even worse because of the merillville semi state. That Place is already a nightmare imagine a couple more hours of being cramped...not worth it!

I noticed that the Harvey -cathedral 119 did not wrestle against nelson and if he did it was not posted on the rankings for a win or loss anyone know if they wrestled eachother? also torres from portage lost a close one too harvey and that is not on there.

i heard from a source that after the hevyweight got stuck the 52lber was destroying the clay kid and pinned himself which cost them the dual because they were only down like 9. I've always been taught that you wrestle everyone the same wether its the #1 ranked team or the worst idk what yorktown was thinking maybe they didnt wanna wrestle merrillville

Portage Won on the 1st criteria from acunas match cathedral kid got called for an unsportsman like for swinging at acuna

i would like to say that Coach Pat Wilkins of Portage is a contender for best turn around team last year we ended the season with a record of 10-12 and only sending 2 wrestlers to semi state and one to state. this year we have ended our season in a team regional loss to CP and a record of 28-5 sending 11 to simi state and hoping to send all 11 to the state tournament. thank you brandon coppinger

I was pretty excited to see that i would be wrestling two opponents i have already beaten...but now i am just pumped cause gregory and i should be a great one. Also i have not wrestled him this year.
