maligned
Tanner Adams went undefeated at the Penn Super Dual and went 3-2 at 160 at the Charger Invite. Goshen's kids benefited from some very nice records at the Al Smith. Garcia was also seeded above someone that beat 145lbs champion Alex Surma based strictly on his record. Right now you have to take kids from Goshen's records with a grain of salt. Yeah, looking at their results, they've mostly wrestled cupcakes up until now. As I said, I was just looking at the brackets and was curious what results prompted the ranking. Thanks for the info.
allchamp7
at 103 have Busz-Whitko and Bevans-Yourktown wrestled eachother?
Y2CJ41
No they haven't Busz has only lost to Newkirk of Lawrence Central. They do have at least one common opponent in my wrestler whom Bevans beat by 5 points and Busz beat by 12.

Boot
I would say Whitko's HWT has a shot at doing well, he seemed pretty solid Saturday and really looked better than Meyer. He was the only one making any offensive moves for the first 5 minutes. Anyone know if he's beaten anyone good?
Y2CJ41
He has lost to Cooper and Eck.

Y2CJ41
Meyer isn't a big time scoring heavyweight by any means.
billy barty
Meyer was sick that day. He also trys to wear down the big boys and get em late. He weighs 215!
Boot
Yeah, and he's very defensive. Anyone with enough offensive intensity can beat him. He's a solid wrestler and uses his size very well, I look for him to do well in the next couple years.

Dylan had 2 real tough matches, besides Dustin Reich, Darryn Scott (Marion) moved up to 215 to wrestle Green. Green won in the final OT. Good Lord, what a battle!! Of course, Green & Scott have always given each other fits over the years...Those 2 matches alone were worth the price of admission...

He's a solid wrestler and uses his size very well, I look for him to do well in the next couple years. I think you might be off the mark a little bit in saying that he is "very" defensive. I think there is some sort of sentiment that because he is smaller that he is supposed to do more than the big guy. Maybe it's just because I am biased. But in a lot of his matches, I see him working a lot more on his feet than the other guy. Granted, against Whitko, he may have been defensive like you said, but he definitely takes more shots on average than the guy he faces (which is sometimes zero). To me, he is one of the most interesting wrestlers that I've seen in a while. Sometimes the outcomes of his matches could easily be reversed if a different official were on the mat, and that goes both ways, winning or losing. littlevito
Regulator85, GrantCountyInsider, and EdwinSmiff will be so happy with the new rankings. Probably the most accurate ones you have made this season.
duck_and_run
I usually don't agree with your arguements or anything, but this is funny Y2. I just did a study on the rankings and there regional only has four ranked. Im sure they will get closer to 7 out though because of the weak schedule, but it is the weakest regional in the state. On a lighter note has Jimtown and Goshen wrestled yet? These two teams seem to slip under the radar in the Fort Wayne semi state and I was kinda wandering the results. duck_and_run
Is that suppose to be a close sectional or is one team dramatically favored up there. I notice they both have several quality wrestlers and have both been dominating there competition. I guess I do not remember either team being great last year so they are interesting schools to me. They both must be doing something right.
Y2CJ41
Elkhart Memorial is the favorite in their sectional. I have the kids ranked from both teams that should be ranked.
