MattM
https://mobile.twitter.com/hagertony/status/760200752253968385 Wonder where he could be heading to finish up his last year of eligibility? Sounds like he will continue to wrestle someplace, as people are saying he's at least looked into a two programs. Northern Iowa and Iowa State. B. Alan
I think I'd really like to know what all went on up there this past year.
Y2CJ41
I believe Doug Schwab was on the Iowa staff when Alex was there and we all know Angel is on staff at Iowa State.

gogoplata89
They won't let him just transfer to another B1G school.
Justin Ratliff
I really like Penn State's program but his style wouldn't really be a fit there. Defense and riding time or escape for the win.
warsawwrestling
That's why I'm saying PS! IMO He needs some adjustments in his attack game. It really has hurt him the last few years. They may let him transfer anywhere, at least a few of the others have! I think there must have been a situation that will allow it! MattM
As Y2CJ already mentioned, if he is going to finish his degree and compete then NW is not going to give him a release to a Big10 school. He will be going where the Big10 schools only have to worry about him at most a couple times a year. Edited August 2, 2016 by MattM
Justin Ratliff
It sounds like the Cyclones are getting a really solid crop of recruits. He would be a strong addition to that team; not sure who they have at his weight. I think Jackson can help him focus on his attack game too. DCand3
Drew Pariano, Micic & Tsirtsis all leave...whatever the situation is going on at NW, must be a really bad deal.
cadet130
He can't transfer to another B10 school if he plans on competing right away. It is the rule that he must sit a year if he transfers within conference. If he redshirts, then he could do that. If not, it's just simply a rule and he wouldn't be able to compete. He already has taken a redshirt year during his freshman season. Tsirtsis only has one year of eligibility remaining.

Y2CJ41
http://www.flowrestling.org/video/986704-jason-tsirtsis-opens-up-about-leaving-northwestern Jason mentions Arizona State, Iowa State, and Northern Iowa as his choices. Basically says that he was on academic probation during the spring and got a D+ which lead to the school dismissing him for a year.
