Tylin beat #6@126 Fretwell @disney.. was a great match.. Both whitehead and him, have been busy this summer.

We have a few females who have also been busy at some national events lately.

Will be interesting to see how PIN-rated athletes fare versus the brackets, of course wrestling will vary wildly more than chess would based on physical/mental state of both competing athletes
 
Among the Juniors, Pennsylvania and Iowa had the most entries (no surprise there).  I was surprised to see Idaho with as many entries as Indiana

USA Wrestling developed the Performance Index (PIN) April of 2023 as a new data-driven measurement for every athlete member of the organization who has results at USA Wrestling events, United World Wrestling events and other major competitions.

The PIN was used to separate athletes at a number of major USA Wrestling national events this spring and summer, with an excellent record of predicting what athletes might reach the finals or earn a spot on the podium.

Beat Eddy Redecki who is  Delawares first ever 8th grade HS state champ who's a 3xer now and All American at NHSCA sophomore Nationals taking 6th in a monster bracket. 
 
Beat SD state champ that's a 3x placer going 1,2,4 and a AAU national champ Hurd.
 
Beat  2x placer Ohio stud k.Lambers
who's placed 3rd and 8th.
 
Best Nebraska state champ and runner up Stusse Jr.
 
Beat Missouri State runner up 3x placer Roth 2x.
 
Glad he's getting some tough of season matches, especially coming off having a Lil knee ailment this summer. But all is well.

Beastmode pink is wrecking teams, having only surrendering  27 total points in all 4 wins beating teams by an average of 50, going 4-0 and taking the #1 seed going into the final 8. Champship bracket tomorrow.

and Whitehead are killing it all undefeated 12-0 combined.

I heard Thrine went 8-2 and beat some nationally ranked kids. 

I know I'm on the older side of things, but leaving David Palmer out... Ouch!

Much better experience after the first day on the exhibition mats and we got them to scrap the paper signup system.
 
Didn’t quite get 30, but Hank the tank notched 23 matches over the 3 days.. 👏👏👏.
 
Olympians 7-3 overall with a win over Naperville who finished 4th.  Youngest team we have ever taken, 3 rising seniors and 11 of 22 incoming freshman.

Damn good opportunity, hopefully tons of kids take advantage of this!

River Forests Alejandro Velasco (Ramirez) signed his letter of intent last week to wrestle for Wabash College. I couldn’t be prouder of this young man. He was The Lilly scholarship recipient, Academic all state, and a State Qualifier at 126 this year. I can not wait to see him earn his degree and wrestle at Wabash. The Ingot wrestling program has produced 3 college wrestlers in the past 3 years! Good luck Prince Ali. Lol.
