  1. From what I’ve heard a number of the NWI kids decided not to do it. And a coach from NWI bowed out as well.
  2. For all the negative, there is always positive. From this past weekend..eight kids from five different teams.
  3. At 106 the PIN rating had the finals calculated correct with Ducking and Brown facing off. Ducking was seeded 1st and Brown 2nd, Brown ended winning. Grafton-Hodgetts had a great tournament. He took 3rd and was seeded 8th. He had a great match with Ducking in the quarter finals only losing 2-0. The only 2 offensive points scored on him were the 2 in the loss to Ducking in the seven matches he had on his way to 3rd.
  4. Personally I think this should be called out (not the wrestlers name) but to those in charge. You now have kid that got 5th at 126 that didn’t qualify just to have a kid allowed to move weight classes? It’s absolutely ridiculous that this is allowed. It really shows lack of integrity of the Indiana wrestling governing bodies if allowed.
  5. It’s a college tournament.
  6. 219 MS Going By MS State Weights (to start) 75 Javier Salas 80 Lydon Vega 100 Sebastian Gracia 106 Noel Verduzco 113 William Grafton-Hodgetts 120 Lincoln Underwood 126 Colin Strayer 132 MJ Staples 195 Caesar Salas 220 Kamron Hazelett
  7. These are the ones I am aware of. 6. Case Bell--8th grade-Avon--95--(106) 8. Matt “MJ” Staples 8th grade—New Prarie--130--(126-138) 10. Ceasar Salas--8th grade--Merrillville--190--(210-220) 26. Patrick Dowty—8th Grade—Indian Creek—106 Other holdbacks with recent success: Gavyn Kemp William Grafton-Hodgetts Javier Salas
  8. He will be on the podium for sure, but in Illinois. He’s going to Mt Carmel.
  9. Jensen Boyd should be on the radar.
  10. Patrick Dowty vs William Grafton-Hodgetts 14U 106 FS semifinal was a great match. Shows a fall, but final was actually 10-8 Dowty. Dowty placed 2nd, Grafton-Hodgetts 3rd. They met again in the GR finals with Dowty win, 10-0. These two are going to be fun to watch battle in the years to come. Both great kids.
  11. Keep an eye out for William Grafton-Hodgetts from CP, he’s a dark horse. Took 4th 14U 102. Won against some hammers. Beat Verduzco in the Consi Semi’s 6-1
