  1. Didnt this happen with VanDeventer and Kleinhanz? Conference Sectional Regional SemiState State?
  2. 106 Boston 113 Brooks 120 Sparks 126 Ayersman 132 Forte 138 Molloy 145 Faurote 152 Rueger 160 Harvey 170 Willis 182 Albertson 195 Baker 220 Robinson 285 Bernard
  3. Haha was thinking the same thing in my head before I scrolled down
  4. Honestly...I think that people lose sight of what college is about. You go to do the best things for you...if he wants to chase his dreams and continue to get better he has to leave...no pride would be sitting on a sinking ship, no honor Im not even going to touch, and doing the right thing is about doing what is best for him.
  5. I am going to say yes, and I think that it was a Bloomington South wrestler years ago. I could be totally wrong though
  6. Idk if I would call him the greatest high school wrestler in Indiana History...that is a very tall order. I agree that he is def in the top 3 but not sure I would say best. I think that Alex would beat Jason hands down though
  7. Rieker is a stud...he brought his man suit today. Steven made it through too in OT
  8. Carlile vs. Taylor in the finals....then I think that it could go either way
  9. Both will have a full roster and Bass coming back into the lineup poses a new threat at JC having another champ. I think that CE has the edge as long as their wrestlers not in the finals place well.
  10. He rode him for like the last 30 seconds after the td. He rode really well the second period with the spiral and the half in. He worked that out really well as the results showed haha
  11. I'm fairly certain Kieffer has a takedown in the 1st.
  12. I agree, and I think that the argument of who woulda or shoulda and comparing last year shouldnt have an effect on what one is ranked this season.
  13. How are these seeds determined?? I know that there were some ppl I didnt see that I thought for sure I would in the top 8
  14. should be an extra 2 pounds because it was closed Thursday as well
  15. It might just be me....but I feel like those are the only two you can make that argument for right now
  16. I would either vote for Mo Gunn or Cashe
  17. Maybe it is me, but i would put angel in front of alex...he did have the better collegiate career.
  18. To be the best you have to beat the best...I dont see it ever being possible for this to happen at the state tourney...to try and do seeding instead of pairings would take FOREVER. Dont get me wrong it would be awesome if it could happen, but as any coach that has sat through a seeding meeting before, it is a lot to go through and that is only for 14 weight classes in one age group. It would be a nightmare to do it for all of them. Some classes have 30 kids in them sometimes and that is a lot to pick through for seeding.
  19. Imma have to go with Dubuque...although Fleeger has some of the sickest offense I have ever seen...that superduck he hits is nuts!!
  20. I would LOVE riding time, but it is hard to find good help on a table now and to have it rolling well let alone throwing in a curveball like riding time...
  21. One thing that I know is a challenge for many is the sheer cost of offseason wrestling. I by no means think that it should be free and I understand how it takes money to run everything, but it is a lot of money to put a wrestler through the offseason if they were to wrestle a tourney a weekend and then the 3 state championships. I am not even gonna think about the costs that come when thinking about wrestling on the national stage. This is a problem that I know holds a lot of people back...maybe if the iswa was able to scale back the prices some then the #'s would pick up. Families with multiple children look to spend well over $1000 in an offseason of wrestling without thinking about camps or nationals. I am as big of a fan of greco and freestyle, and I kno of the extreme benefits that they pose for wrestlers that possess the skills gained from these styles...it saddens me that so many oare not able to take part in and be exposed to such great aspects of the sport.
