I hate FLO.
I've been watching on IHSAATV.ORG and the app on the Roku. Good video except for Leighton Jones intro when the screen went black and feed cut out.

My top 8
1. Schoeff (He's finished 3,2,2 and is clutch when it counts)
2. Huyvaert (lot of hype on this young freshman so I am buying into it. But he has a tough Friday match and Saturday morning match.
3. Solomey (but if he wins the whole thing it won't surprise me)
4. Courtney (Just my Evansville Semi state bias here)
5. Major (I can see him upsetting Huyvaert and getting 2nd)
6. Whitehead
7. Wood (Just because his Friday match and Saturday is so tough. I hated to move him down but this weight
8. Arberry
I got all 8 but not in order. Courtney with a few big wins!

If I was to bet, I’m going to bet on thrine. Thrine is way to explosive and an opportunist.
Frazier will want to end this match quick because the longer it goes the more likely he is to open up.
I saw this earlier and thought you must be high! I didn't think Thrine had a chance against the defending state champ who is going D1 to Virginia Tech.... Well, I was wrong! Congrats to the young freshman.

Fort Wayne Almost swept 182, 195...
I was not happy about 182 lol. I was hoping for Eville to win 3 of the 4.

Evansville sweeps New Castle at 113 and sweeps East Chicago at 195.
They nearly swept 126 but Bradley somehow came out on top of Stephens in a a great 6-5 match.
They nearly swept 132 with Justice Thornton losing a close one to one seed Easton Doster 6-4.

She is the first girl to make it to the state finals two years in a row! She lost a tough match today 5-0 to a returning state qualifier.
Last year she lost Friday Night to the eventually state runner up in Jendreas 11-5.
This year she has beaten many state qualifiers/placers
#24 Xaiver Chavez 21-9 - State Qualifier WIN by fall two times
#23 Gunner Butt 27-8 - State Placer Win by fall
#6 Mason Jones 40-1 - State Placer Win 2-0
#17 Kaleb Salazar 36-6 - State Qualifier Win by fall in OT
#13 Rex Moore 23-7 - State Qualifier Win by major decision 10-2
Her credentials so far surpass the legend Kayla Miracle. If you remember, Kayla lost a decision to stud Hayden Lee 4-0 on Friday night.

Crown Point 38
Brownsburg 29.5
Center Grove 26
Crown Point 10 of 12 placing. Haney with a big win.Sess and Van T had tough matches.
Brownsburg 7 of 9 placing. Brewer losing is a big hit to BB.
Center Grove 8 of 12 placing. Big losses in the second session for CG. Stitz, Clouser, Johnson, and Schott all lost and I'd guess the majority of us had them winning.

At Halftime, scores are
Brownsburg 20.5
Center Grove 17.0
Crown Point 16.0
Brownsburg went 5/6 winning with 3 more to go.
Center Grove went 5/5 with 7 more to go.
Crown Point went 5/7 with 5 more to go.
Do BB or CG have a remote chance of beating Crown Point? CG looking good!

Yes, Jesse has another year at juniors. The plan is to wrestle in the US open at 61 kilos. Jesse is making weight with ease this year, but plans on getting bigger for 65 kilos. He is going to wrestle junior trials at 65 in preparation. Use the rest of the year to put muscle on and be a full size 141. I doubt he ever takes a shirt.
Also he will wrestle Vito on Flo this Saturday at 12CT.
Thanks for the update! Im curious why he likely won't take a redshirt? So he would wrestle four straight years and then be done and focus on the Olympics? MMA? Just curious of the strategy behind it. Especially when you have some guys wrestling for 5,6,7 years.

3 FF's so out of 11 wrestlers
7 sectional champions with 10 going to Regionals
3 Regional Champions with 8 going to Semi State
2,2,3,3 Semi state finishes with 4 going to state
If it wasn't for a terrible draw, you could add Coy Hammack to the state finals list.
Ranked 4th going into the 1A tournament and came out of it Class 1A Champions. 21-4 record with losses to Heritage Hills, Col East, and Mater Dei.
They finished 4th in Semi State. Lets not forget they got 4th out of the most brutal and toughest semi state in Indiana!
I know other schools get recognition but my goodness, Tell City is a powerhouse this year!
All four of their state finals wrestlers are the lower ranking and may not win but Im impressed by TC.

Once @Y2CJ41 gets done mingling with the legend Mike Goebel he will have them up!
-
I'll start a petition to get Brownsburg and Center Grove out of Evansville semi state! LOL. Give these other wrestlers a chance and lets balance out the power of Evansville.

Chavez beat Mcconnell 5-3. Mcconnell's other two losses are to #1 Purdy and #2 Henry.

I have read @FCFIGHTER170 posts about him saying Little Thrine pinned Wolfe so he was on my radar to place. Kid is special. Will he focus more on wrestling or stay playing football, too? What are his football stats??
