It is a competition option for this coming season.  However, there are some specific clothing rules (mostly dealing with length) that you have to adhere to.  So if you are thinking about switching your best best is to contact a vendor (like E.I. Sports) that can go over the specification.

Thank you for all the kind words and support for Ty.  We were very blessed by the opportunities that were presented to him, but we couldn’t be happier with his choice of Duke.  We both knew after our first visit, that’s that place he wants to be.  The coaching staff has many Indiana ties and after listening to what Coach Lanham is building, it was like the stars aligned .  We watched Coach Wissel wrestle with Purdue versus Penn State at the very first Indy Nationals at Conseco Fieldhouse when Ty was a Bantam and watched Coach Nelson wrestle many times in both HS and College.  Ty’s hard work on the mat and in the classroom, has opened so many doors for him, we could not be prouder of what he has accomplished so far.  Hopefully, the combination of Ty and Jerimiah Reitz will anchor Duke’s lightweight lineup for the next 4-5 years. 

Just got off the phone with sprint. They said they are having engineers fix the glitch today... fingers crossed. 

Final stud list coming out at noon with over 180 on it. There have been some weight changes that are reflected on it.

Not necessarily matchups but some interesting asides to watch...Sam Fair back after injury, Hassan Johnson at 129 vs anybody, Crespo a MI state champ in for 1st time, and OH Jacob Edwards with a big weight jump are all intriguing.
Oh, and the huge Fabio vs BoboBrazil matchup looks like it could conceivably happen this weekend as well!!

You obviously haven't been to team state where 1A fans are definitely the loudest and probably the biggest crowd.

So he's healthy enough to wrestle Cohlton Schultz to a 3-2 match, but not healthy enough to beat Evan Ellis?

I posted a similar comment about a video of the 145 match I seen .. sounds like a another person seen the same thing ..

Definitely some great matches, a lot of disappointment with some refs. Kids were getting punched, slammed in the back of the head, pulling on head gear, grabbing fingers instead of wrist and hands. I think it was clear who some refs were there for. Very unfortunate...

Best heavy weight match to date.

I could See Briar Goodwin sticking people till the ticket round, or Michael Rupp getting to the ticket round maybe Both from South Adams and are in Fort Wayne Semi-state

IMO I would liked the championship matches to be in a row instead of 1st/2nd 3rd/4th 1st/2nd. It would be nice to able to sit in the middle and watch all the championships at one time

You have Wyatt Miller at 120. He's 113. Logan Moser has a loss to another Ft. Wayne kid not mentioned as well at 113 with a better record.
