Expanding the numbers will do nothing. Wrestlers, coaches, and parents just need to start accepting the fact that the wrestler lost and didn't do there job of winning the match. It's as simple as that. Too many should of's, would of's, and could of's...How can we change the tournament so that my kid, or wrestler gets to state? This is where the participation ribbon mindset is starting to engulf the true competition of not only the state tournament, but any tournament in general.

There is really only 1 true stone cold lock and 1 true death draw in this whole tournament and the lock is CJ Red Friday night and the death draw is the poor guy who drew into CJ Red Friday night !!!

Trophy Plate in Avon , E-Ville can come to Avon and try to get half of it if they like.

Malloy kid is a real good wrestler and comes from good wrestling lineage, but there is just no comparison to Red.  Kid is not only a great wrestler but is an equally great kid off the mat.  He is litterally the epitome of what all other kids should strive to be on and off the mat.  Keep up the good work CJ !!!

Nick there have been questions previously posted as to if the semi state will be telecasted or streamed........any idea ? and if so where ?

So what happens if B lee beats him? Or even tests him Brayton is pretty good also. I know nick is good BLee has beat chatsain and knapp 2 returning medalist and is a Ihpo champ before wrestling a high school match. Your right the ranking doesn't matter but maybe some respect for a freshman who is doing what nick did last year.

4 or 5 is the youngest I would think to start.  And obviously have a TON of patience as it will take lots of time to see any sort of progress.  During the first few years of starting it should be all about having fun out there and doesn't matter what the results are so enjoy the ride dad whenever you decide to get him involved  !!!

I am going to say if the Carmel line up is the same or similar to last nights dual with the #PAINTRAIN then some of the above predictions about them are not correct.

Darrick and Nick and the rest of the coaching staff are great additions to the program and we are all very happy to have them.  They make it no secret they want to take the program to the next level and build a "Champion Factory" in Brownsburg. 
 
Darrick is very supportive of all the programs and academies (Contenders, Red Cobra, CIA) that are available to the kids at the High School, Middle School & Youth levels to supplement and help make these kids the young men and the wrestlers they are.  He and his coaching staff are certainly the benefactors to the hard work and dedication the kids in Brownsburg are putting out there day in and day out to try to build a championship program.

the field is now full and registration is closed for teams for the 2015 Team Dual State with Columbus East grabbing the last spot.
