I have been on here and gave props to Many many of the wrestlers not only from EVV, but also the county and even the wrestlers from up north. I’ve went as far as projecting wrestlers from the county to be top of the podium so I respect the work they put in and their  achievements. But let’s not act like y’all don’t overtake this site at times with all the #County chat, especially after a victory. Good day

but I seriously doubt this will disappear come Nov 3. Just like it didn’t when the weather turned warm. 

Fat chance that happens....

It’s not as simple as “common sense” because common sense would tell you that around 4% of people with COVID are dying. Common sense would also tell you that COVID spreads a lot more frequently than most of the things listed above. Lastly, common sense would tell you there are ways to prevent most of the things up there (excluding cancer and type one diabetes) 
 
Lets say worst case scenario happens and every American gets COVID. That’s 356 million Americans. 4% of them dying is about 18 million. Would you rather save the 4% that could potentially get COVID in the future or wrestle this year?
 
Also the notion that it doesn’t affect teenagers and young adults is something most Americans believe but is simply not true. I had a friend (in his 20s and in good health) get it and he had to go to the ER because COVID caused him to get pneumonia. He said it was the worst experience of his life and I can believe it. I’m not advocating cancelling the wrestling season right now, but it might be in our best interest as time goes on to cancel. I wanna save the 4% and that’s more important to me than wrestling

Damn. I’m so sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers are with Baxter and his family. He loved watching Baxter wrestle and was so proud of him and the man he’s become.
 
I shared a suite with Doug at state 4 years ago and I’m so glad my path crossed with this great gentleman. 
 
Doug provided a shoulder to cry on and advice that helped me thru one of the toughest couple months I’ve ever experienced as a wrestling parent this past winter. I shall be forever grateful. 
 
Eternal peace grant unto him O Lord.
