I would love to talk about this. I did coach at CMA for two years out of college and yes it was difficult to develop talent. But those individuals we had found ways to get better. Off season wrestling, going to other clubs, private coaches. 
I can see both sides of the argument but there are ways we just need to find them. In 2007 we had to rebuild Penn and it was a tough few years, did we have more numbers? Yes. But it took an army of coaches, pulling kids out of the hallways, having fun, going on trips. It takes hard word. Honestly I’m going to use a guy like @QuinnHarrishe took a small cascade team in a couple of years and was making noise, they don’t have the numbers like Penn does either. Look at Wawasee they are a tiny rural school as well and they are producing state guys each year. I could name more schools if I wanted to. 
 All classing is going to do is water down Indiana wrestling.

Yes every Thursday at 5:30. We had athletes from Tri-West, Crawfordsville, Lebanon, and Brownsburg. This week we will have Coach Jacob Aven from Lawrence North. Coach Aven was a National Qualifer for Purdue. Coach Aven has shown how important he is in his athletes lives. Take a look at Brandon Johnson, he was a regional qualifier last year and this year Brandon placed 6th in the state. Come get better this week!

During the finals introductions I heard them say he has the Crown Point takedown record for a single season at 223 but that was before his final match. He had 2 in the finals.
 
225 takedowns, 37 matches, 6.1 takedowns a MATCH. On that Crown Point Schedule!!!!!! 
 
I think I brought it up 4-5 times during the finals how impressive I thought that was.
 
Again congrats to Orlando Cruz and Good Luck at Purdue!

What a stud and a class act

He earned a new fan right here. Uber impressed with this young King on and off the mat.  I usually don't cheer for Purdue but I guess I'll have to make an exception.

I do believe Cruz will make a serious impact in college .
