We wernt lucky enough to see the Falcons of PM this year  :-\ but I can only imagine the job Coach Tonte has done and it would not shock me to see them keep rolling to their 4th Team Title. I could also see the Kingsman having a good show and winning! And you cant leave out the Wildcats from down south! So many solid teams this year. I know I cannot wait to make the trip to Center Grove and see these Schools battle it out to prove who is the best IHSAA Dual Team.

Highland Team Regional:

Merrillville 52 Hobart 21

Portage 32 Lake Central 36

That is definitely an UPSET by the Blue Indians, seeing how Portage tripled them in the dual two weeks ago, 48-16.  And Portage also wrestled Merrillville to a 35-29 loss with 3-4 starters not in the lineup due to injury at the start of the year.  Not saying it couldn't happen, but highly unlikely that a team can change a result so much in 2 weeks.

Dont forget you can't count out the Irish, there are some who may even guarantee an Irish victory. If they have their full line up of course.

**Penn was penalized 1 team point when Harper punched Colburn after a stalling call in the 113 pound match.

Notables not in line-up:

Zack Davis got 4 F's and is ineligible. Would have been Penn's first 4-time regional champion.

Alex Rinehart was roller blading in the horrible weather and broke his ankle.

I "heard" that Portgage caught a case of the flu earlier this week and over half their starters were out.

Not to question but you have Lawrence bump to 45 with a decision and sebahar at 45 with a fall.

Here is what happened two weeks ago.

145-Sebehar dec Gonzalez 8-1

152- Iszak Morgan dec christenson. 7-5 .

170- Vargas MDec Ishmael Cornejo

182- Chandler dec or MDec

195- Hedrick pin

220- Robinson pin Rodney

285- Williams fall

106- Gensimore dec

113- Prado by fall

120- Joseph MDec

126- Gaige Torres beat truver 11-6.

132- Scooby dec

138- Lawrence with a pin.

If you are saying that Gaige and up would bump, wouldn't you think that the coaches would do the same thing at 220 and heavy?  Trading 6-6 is better than going down 11 as you have it.  Seeing how Williams is ranked at 220 and they would do anything to win a dual meet?
