He lost in the finals by 1 or 2 to Floyd Central 113...(cant think of his name) Ervin?/ Egli matchup! Shepard/Kylee wood? Blackweel/Jourdan Ervin/Seng Dezember/Johnson? HWT: Ray Ray Brown vs Cox. backtothemat Posted December 19, 2013 Share Posted December 19, 2013 Yes. MD 45-22. Lee, Blackwell and B Irvin were heads above the rest. Lee v. Blackwell would have been a great match. Saul Ervin (8th grade) gave Egli a good match. Match of the night: Weinzapfel 152 first match of the night. Down 7-0 in the first against Chad Gahafer (KYState placer in 2013). Came back to trail 7-6 in the 3rd before a pin with under 5 seconds left. Crowd erupted and Mater Dei rode the momentum and rolled after that, building a huge lead. Only bad news is that MD HWT lost via injury FF ( shoulder). Did not look good and they foreited JV HWT. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Got caught in the first period but fought back and got the pin with 4 seconds left. ?.220 Adrian when the matchstarted the UC kid looked like he was going to try and manhandle him and got the table turned on him. 106 Egli in my opinion should of pinned him the young ervin who caught Egli and made things interesting. 113 Luigs match was a great match and just came up short but was an exciting match Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
