State Finals Predictions

No one is picking Kaplanis as one of the final 8 in state?

I tell you what, after pinning his two firts round opponents and handeling Blake Ford 5-1.

He certainly did not disappoint in  finals match against  Abe Hall which went into tripple overtime.

I think maybe he might be the ultamate dark horse of the heaveywieghts.

I have Kaplanis taking sixth in my bracket. But I agree with you. He looked very impressive, especially against Hall in the finals.

And that's putting it mildly. IMO Lynde will be ONE of the most dominant wrestlers next weekend.

Winkle would beat Hurford in a rematch. Not taking anything away from his win but Winkle messed up and it wouldt happen again. Now as far as Lynde losing to Hurford..... come on, if you think this could happen even after seeing Lynde DESTROY him you are either in a dream world or your last name is Hurford also.

Yes, I believe this is an early Chauncey McDaniels great team. No recruiting in those days. Just a bunch of good ole Perry Township boys trained by an early master of the sport !!
