Coach Harmon I just have to say, that I follow this board pretty regularly looking for signs of integrity in this great sport and often times find a lack there of. You are a breath of fresh air for Indiana High School Wrestling and bring honor to your coaching ranks. I hope to see you around for years to come. What you do for kids is not measurable. What many coaches do not realize is that it is not only 4 years of a kids life that you are affecting.From the many post that I have read of yours, I believe that you are committed to this belief and that many kids have been the benefit of your teaching. Thank You for this statement. I hope you you are referring to all ethical issues.I believe a lack of ethics has been the greatest downfall of Indiana High School Wrestling. As you have stated it is one of the reasons the IHSAA discontinued the Team State Tournament. Much of the failing ethics is at the top of our leadership. P.S. By the way Cute Kid. You are paranoid. I don't think I mentioned anything about a conspiracy Or the dreaded "undue influence". I just questioned "of his own volition" as a little naive. You need to dig a little deeper Than the fact that they attended PERRY MERIDIAN MIDDLE SCHOOL. That is part of the recruiting plan and why not? This is were you indoctrinate the studs and weed out the not so talented kids. It also keeps the IHSAA HAPPY I would ask if any kids moved out of Perry because they were recruited out of their spot?? So sad too bad ! Right ?

So maybe the time has come. The IHSAA is ready to look at wrestlebacks. If they do give us Wrestlebacks will you TEAM STATE guys quit whining?? I will call Bobby Cox and start the ball rolling. ;D ;D

So let us start working for wrestlebacks and quit whining for the return of team state. There are other ways to make the sport better and I don't see an end to the worlds oldest sport because the state of Indiana no longer has a TEAM STATE format. Let's move forward!!

If Team competition were solely and totally community based I would support it. Unfortunately ............ Well it has been made into something that resembles college recruiting for a few elite teams. I think 10 was the number used. The other 300 + teams could care less. No matter how you spin this thing Wrestling Is mostly an individual sport. No one is recruiting teams to wrestle in college or the Olympics. Individuals have to qualify.
