This tournament is amazing with HUGE exposure for the individuals involved. Anybody know who all is planning to be there this year? MattM Posted March 5, 2011 Share Posted March 5, 2011 Unfortunately it again the same weekend as NHSCA Nationals. So Indiana end up splitting the talent between these two events. Flowrestling in just its second year has probably established it as the premier tournament for lower classmen to get exposure at since they have no age division splits. Currently Senior Nationals still has prestige on it side and draws many of the nations top seniors. The other NHSCA National events draw some good kids but I believe FloNational all ages in one bracket style is slowly sucking many away from it. Both events have some pro's and con's depending on who you are. However, one thing is for certain if you can survive the meat grinder of even event and place you beat some very tough competition. We will see if this becomes a trend in the future as Senior Nationals has previously held the crown of being the premier event for talented Seniors to try and get more name recognition in the past. FloNationals though has been gaining steam fast in only its second year as the toughest all inclusive end of the year event. Coach Williams Posted April 2, 2011 Share Posted April 2, 2011 Nathan Boston is 2-0 and in the quarters against the #1 seed. He pinned an Ohio kid and beat Dalton Macri of PA (was 5th at Super 32) 6-3. Not sure how the other Indiana guys are doing. I'll post when I get a chance to look at the updated brackets. Not sure if the issue of a middle school wrestle being entered will be something the event coordinators will want to revisit in the future or not. Boston lost in the finals but not sure on score yet. Finals are live now but they are going in random order so 135 will be last. No clue on where everyone else placed though.
