Now the pressure is on Oliver of Indiana, he gets Foley of Michigan State again ,in the wrestle backs. This will be “for the cellar” match. Michigan State or Indiana will be on the bottom again. This has been a yearly event for the last several years. This keeps all of the state wrestling fans in Indiana, on the edge of their seats! Last!, or next to last!  Wow, it doesn’t get any better than this! Skatzka May be the deciding points in this yearly drama.  

Good showing for the Boilers! Big upgrade this year in the big tournament 

We could add mats to Banker's Life easily. It would be a tighter fit, but we could go with 6 or 8 mats in there. We wouldn't need to move venues.

Great to see the program progress, even if it’s incremental. The men ,the new coaches,inherited have a whole new aggressiveness to them. This helps ,when high schoolers are considering, to see the in room progression.  Nothing but good things in West Lafayette. 

I went with my Brooks.  We got in line at 3.  I was actually the first one allowed in the Fieldhouse.  Got to a section our school wanted to sit in.  Got hit with a roll of caution tape. It was a train wreck.

They also have Penola coming in. Really looking forward to him getting better, he has a very high ceiling. They also have Emil Soehnlen from Ohio, actually the same school as David Carr, at 170. Soehnlen's a top ranked 170 lber and I believe top 50 overall. And lastly they Kendall Coleman from Mt Carmel (?) at 145, ranked pretty high. 

Another great dual win for Boilers, at Wisconsin. Actually an upset per say, with the rankings, but me thinks Purdue is not getting the attention that Wisconsin seems to command, in the rankings. So upset? No,  just a continuing improving purdue team, beating a team they should beat in the BIG.

I agree, but again IndianaMat has been around since before 2011.
 
I am not trying to disrespect you, but I can't agree that a new era/revolution started in 2011 &/or that this years State Tournament is in any way some sort of end to an era. The sport of wrestling has been evolving for many decades & will continue to evolve. Wrestlers have had & always will have different styles. Some wrestlers are straight forward hammer types while others have wide open/high pace styles, while others still are extremely funky. The best wrestlers are the ones that can incorporate all of these into their repertoire.
I do believe we have witnessed a tremendous increase in the quality, more specifically the depth of quality, of wrestlers in the past decade or so. But I don't think there is any reason to believe this trend is coming to any sort of end. I think that this is largely due to the increase of club & academy wrestling, which is certainly not going away.

Why is it the end? 
I think Indiana wrestling is getting better and better. 
We graduate some guys, but the next “legends” are coming or possibly already here.

Maybe New Haven should build a facility like the colisum to hold this event.

The school that takes on the responsibility of organizing the event should be honored by having their name in the title.  New Haven gets help from all over the place, but in the end they're the ones moving mats, setting up scores tables, putting scales in the weigh-in rooms, and tearing things down when it's over.  Who cares if the host school changes here and there,  give credit where credit is due!

Lessons learned, It is a long D-1 season. They need to peak in 3 weeks at Big's. If they stay healthy and rested they will do just fine.

I get it.  I never wrestled. Am a huge fan of the sport because of my son Baxter, the Hartz Bros and Castle Wrestling Club, Coach Harmon and Castle HS, Rob and Matt Deterd, and Maurer Coughlin and their club. Love all of those guys.

Not sure why you insist that your personal beliefs are the way the world is, but the facts are right there.   As for "don't go where the gun shots are", are you SERIOUS?   You can now predict when and where someone will start shooting?  Wow the city should hire you to just sit around and point cops to addresses.
I know Bluebolt.  I don't know you.  The guy may be a lot of things, but he is a good guy and knows his stuff.   He is one of us in Good Standing.  As far as we know, you never stepped on a mat.
