Ragle didn't wrestle Wilkerson this season. If he had, and lost, do you think he would be seeded higher than him? If you look at the results Wilkerson didn't go 120 vs. New Castle at the beginning of the year.
I'm really not sure why you are hating on such an outstanding kid based solely on my prediction that he could win conference. Also, you can claim all you want about New Castle's schedule, but that doesn't change the fact that Ragle lost by two points in the ticket round to get to state.
And, I don't know how good Noehre is. His record is impressive, for sure. And he's a No. 1 seed for a reason. But, you can't get all offended anytime someone picks someone other than your guy to win a match. It's what makes this board fun.

5 of the top 6 and 6 of the top 8 Evv SS ranked guys at 170 are coming out of the Mooresville Regional.  We all know what that means........

That's probably the deepest weight class at one Regional in the State. It's worth the admission just for this weight. 6 Top wrestlers in the State with only 4 advancing . Yes your going to have that one "Unknown Pick" advancing in each weight class but at this weight **IMO** I don't think those Unknowns will get this opportunity. TOUGH ! TOUGH ! TOUGH ! . Anything can happen, we all know that. Whoever the Top 4 at Moorseville Regional is ... they all earned it . Goodluck to all at 170.
Just think what the Semi-State brings to the table . I can't wait to watch at both Regionals & Semi-State.
WHAT A STORY LINE FOR THE MEDIA !

Thanks to Fabio Jr. it was fun seeing the behind the scenes fun of semi state rankings. If any of you haven't sat through one of these, I think Joe should make it mandatory before you're allowed to complain about the rankings. Lol! In all seriousness get your results in if you want your (or any) kids looked at. It would really help these guys out!!

If the wrestlers are not located in the database you can add a post on here and I will check before I pull from the database.

This gives me a chance to pull data and get it in a way to easily browse and search.

This is gonna be informal and just me going through results and info, listening to music, and intertacting with chat(If i can figure out how to get it up and running).

Hope this will help be a little transparent about what actually goes in to this process!

We done them three times through out the season if needed...If a guy wins the first 2 he gets the spot...I don't like the thought of a team having wrestle offs til they recieve their desired result

Angel vs jaggers iirc they were 60-0 vs 58-0 and the announcer eve said never again might two wrestlers with 2 sparkling records meet again in the finals...Mac Taylor was 221-8 and at the time held the national record...there are at least 3 guys from nc with 200 wins and 6 with 180+ but none won a title..all were greats but couldn't get that state championship...Bubba Dickerson is the last nc wrestler to win a title and it still shocks me..between mullins, taylor, campbell and Jaggers that still baffles me..there are 4 runner ups and 3 thirds among them..and all placed 3 or more times

I usually don't post on here and I was going to put a long post on here about everything that's going on but have decided against it but the one thing I am going to say is under no circumstance will Brayden be wrestling 106 I made a promise to him he has kept his end of it I intend to keep mine well yes Brayden is small in height he's a very solid kid and does not have much more to get off he may not win every match and it's looking like he might not even have an opportunity but instead of focusing on getting him down where he feels unhealthy and the last pound I can get I intend on focusing on getting him stronger and faster and if he doesn't get the opportunity this year he will come back with a vengeance next year

I would take "high school" Wiesjahn over McIntosh. I think it is funny how people try and take jabs at Fabio when he voices an opinion. He had a solid high school career and continued at a good DII program. I'm pretty sure he also has pretty good knowledge when it comes to wrestlers in Indiana.

Im the exact same way with stats...There also things called seeding meetings and brackets that call for records...Every kid in the state finals book preview will have their record displayed...I won over 100 matches myself and I'll tell you this I remember my losses way more than I do wins...Im not trying to gang up on the guy for his opinion I just think he's mistaken if he don't think most wrestlers keep track of that...
A kid I know, has his whole career stats on his phone am the way from 4th grade til now as a sophomore..he told me it motivates him to do better each yr and wants his winning percentage to keep rising...he's already won more this season than all last yr and he's very conscience of that..he 21-2 currently and was 19-10 last yr...he also wrestles in #Thecounty where there's stiff competition all year..

Who cares if they made a thread..good for these wrestlers...it makes me laugh that you took time to put this thread down...if it's a waste of time then why are wasting time posting in this thread..this is a wrestling site so idk what your deal is...most parent, coaches and wrestlers wouldn't take time to talk smack either..you're entitled to your opinion but 102-9 is pretty damn impressive...I guess being proud is wrong now...

Delaware County, take your pick: David Palmer (Muncie South/Delta) 2-1-1-1, with one loss in high school or Jeff Pease Muncie South 5 Fargo Titles! Depending on your definition of best, you decide? Sidenote; David Locke of Delta was a 1982 World Champ and Dennis Lewis of Yorktown was a 2 X State Champ and placer. Craig Campbell Delta 3-3-3-1. Bud Palmer won 2 titles for Muncie Northside. I feel if you add in Yorktown's recent success, Delaware County is rich in wrestling history.

Good wrestlers for sure but Kerkhoff may not even been the best from Delta considering John Ginther and David Palmer. Palmer would get my vote in a tight one.

We often think of the typical big jump in quality as being from freshman to sophomore year (me included), but the leap in quality for bigger guys is often the sophomore to junior year where the needed big-guy strength is catching up to the experience level. With Penola's breakout performance at the Al Smith, going from a first-round semi-state loser with double-digit losses as a sophomore to beating 4 straight top-12 guys and winning the Al Smith as a junior, it got me thinking about other bigger weight guys that were tough as sophomores last year.  (We also miss the bigger guys in rankings sometimes because they don't compete in the off-season as much due to other sports, and because they can sneak up on us from less-regarded schools since strength and speed alone can translate to needed skills more easily with big fellas.)

A couple I've seen that aren't state or semi-state ranked and could be overlooked because of emphasis on last year's results when there's a good chance there's that ability leap we're talking about:

Sisk at 220 from Pike Central (37-8 last year)...should be at least top 3 coming out of Castle regional
Kiave Guerrier at 182 from Evansville Central (32-11 last year)...just rolled through everyone except for a respectable 8-2 loss to #1 Walton (who's only gone the distance a couple times this year) in taking 3rd at Mooresville.
