Evansville is just so deep. You have 3 of the top 5 teams in the state in 4A, 3A team state champ Columbus East and 1A Champ Tell City. Floyd Central and Avon both have some serious hammers in their lineup.

They can only bring back the tights, if they bring back the all white shoes as well.

Evansville has 4 returning/former State Champions, in the field, and 4 more that have wrestled under the lights.

Distance has nothing to do with Sectional Alignment, New Albany and Floyd Central are 8 and 23 miles away from Jeffersonville, but are sent to Southridge for Sectional a mere 75 miles away. And to make it even better they don't even get the 20 minute but ride to Jeffersonville for Regional they get to go to Bloomington! Brown County is 20 miles from Bloomington North, but go 50 miles away to Jennings County for Sectional.

Robert Rosbottom (Jeffersonville) and Steve Minton (New Albany) anyone? Mid season dual goes to Rosbottom, Conference and Sectional to Rosbottom. Minton wins regional setting up the ticket round match of all ticket round matches in Seymour returning state champ Rosbottom vs. returning state runner up Jankowski. Rosbottom knocked off Jankowski, then beat Minton in the finals of Semi State and State.

The gerrymandering in the south is ridiculous, the changes to Jeffersonville and Southridge make zero sense. You will literally have multiple schools passing each other on I-64 going the opposite direction for sectional. Look at a map and see how insane it is. On the bright side The new Jeffersonville meat grinder will provide some great matches for the fans

Lawrene North 05 was pretty solid headlined by 3x Reece Humphrey, they also has 3- 3rd placers a 5th, 6th and qualifier. Also had Pino in that class who was 4th year before. -
