One thing i know is that some of these higher tier schools have a ton of kids who should be brought up like this I think of Adam Guerra who was behind me and Josh harper for 3 years and came in as a SR and got 5th. Give them 2-3 years of Varsity comp and he could easily compete with high level guys but got one year to do so. Those kids are the real heroes who put their time in to help their teammates be the best they could be  and for just one shot for their own. And never once did those guys say something about it just kept busting their hump. So maybe not state champs but champion humans either way

This may be the most unfortunate case of mistyping “on” for “in” that I’ve ever seen.

They all have ties to the top kids in the brackets in central Indiana. Along with Fleeger, Blake, and Matt, these coaches are strengthening Indiana wrestling.

- 33 of those 48 we state placers
- 13 of those were state champions
 
Also coached 5 Team State titles, 2nd Place finish, and a 4th Place finish

Idk, what some of these ladies have done is pretty impressive. Especially Sarah Hillebrandt.. 
 
She won one of the bronze medals in the women's 50 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. She is a three-time medalist at the World Wrestling Championships and a gold medalist at the Pan American Games. She is also a six-time gold medalist at the Pan American Wrestling Championships. Just a little bit of her resume . 
 
I’m going to say we got an Indiana winner right here and she’s got my vote .

@New Castle - Heather Crull gets a 1st Period fall over Roncalli's Rossman.  The camera angle sucked and the ref got in the way, but he didn't look pinned.  If so, it was a quick one.  Either way, Crull was up 2-0 and getting 3 backs.  She's a TR match with Connor Bayliss of MT. Vernon (Fortville) from becoming a State Qualifier.

Not bad that most the ranked guys are still in the tournament.

If we, as adults are going to expect sportsmanship and accountability from our young people, we must be willing to model and display what that looks like.  You can't tell them one thing and show another, it just doesn't work that way.  We have to be a better example!

But they didn’t.

That the greatest team of all time will be crowned champion in downtown Indy in two weeks. Yes, either Crown Point or Brownsburg will be crowned champion and to me will be the greatest team of all time surpassing 2003 EMD, 2005 Lawrence North, 2012 Perry Meridian, 2016 Warren Central, 2017 Brownsburg, and 2021 EMD.
 
Depending on how draws work out, Crown Point and Brownsburg both have the potential to put 5+ wrestlers into the finals.
 
Crown Point Potential Finalists (7): Jendreas, Frazier, Bahl, Mendez, Goin, Goodwin, Cruz
 
Brownsburg Potential Finalists (6): Hockaday, Haines, Miller, Ison, Henry, Jones
 
Of course, even if draws work in either teams favor, they still have to show up and wrestle. If you ask me, if you can put half your team into the finals, regardless of if they win or not, you’re the greatest team ever without question. 
 
In all honesty, I hope the kids break the records of the past and bring the conversation towards today. They work their butts off and deserve it.
