Wow!  Great wrestling at state this past wkend.... alot of new names and faces doing great things.... and if course some of the normal powers in the state,  especially liked seeing Graham and Ison do their thing

There are a couple things other events such as IHPO have in their favor.
1. No minimum 45 minute wait time(personally think this should be changed by NFHS to 30 minutes)
2. No match minimum per day, currently 5 matches.
3. Schools are much more cautious than renegade organizations
 
That being said, I talked to an AD this weekend and he was telling me how they were looking to be creative with their conference tournament. There are ways to safely have events during this time. Big events like the Al Smith require a lot to pull off in a normal year, but right now it is almost brain busting.

Based on the numbers I saw in Greenwood this weekend, there is definitely a way to make this happen if the venue can be changed.  Heck 2020 IHPO numbers were higher than 2019 Al Smith numbers. 
 
Forgive me if I am stating the obvious, just think this can happen for the kids.

There's multiple account users?   That's the most disgusting thing i've heard on the history of Indianamat and OJ Simpsons twitter posts.  That's as bad when I work with Charles Barkley, and he gets the double Nachos with Jalapenos in the first half, and then lets out silent deadly ones in the booth during the second half and I have to keep a straight face while im delivering my long irrlelavant incoherent rants on national TV (which everybody loves).  
 
That's as bad as going to a lousy grateful dead tribute band concert and some dude passes maui wowie and its really parsley and cilantro.

It's not the media. It's the UNKNOWN. The Chinese didn't shut down whole parts of their country because of media exaggeration. Don't trust the media go to the CDC, NIH, John Hopkins or State Health agency sites. Watch Congressional hearings.
 
The flu infects at 1 to 1 this thing 'appears' to spread at 1 to 2. Cycle that out 10 times and you get 10 infections for the flu and 1K for Covid-19. And, the mortality of this thing 'appears' to be 10x that of the flu (A Facui before Congress yesterday).
 
Italy went from 10 cases to 12,500 in two weeks with a 164 deaths yesterday alone. That's a growth rate of ~120,000% and even if you factor in increased testing that's astronomical.
 
There is difference between panic and expecting our populace and institutions have a sense of urgency and being a "little irrational". No the world isn't going to end, but it's a serious problem, particularly for the 48M that are most at risk (including children with asthma).

Tough to plan for something like this.  Many, many things are being cancelled/postponed.  This virus scare appears to be disrupting everyone’s lives in many ways.  Public health appears to be the least of things that will be impacted although this is the reason for shutting everything down. 

Avid conspiracy theorist here..not so much a tough guy depending upon whom you ask.and definitely not a biotech expert (Ball U, baby!! Education redefined!) .but if I'm gonna get it, please let it be Sunday so I can self quarantine for 2 weeks of MarchMadness/MarchMatness! I'm down for laying around sick, watching 12 hours of hoops and wrasslin' all day (albeit possibly in misery) and having people stay away from me (UncleJimmy not a people person, shocking..I know!). Hopefully I survive it, but if I don't I'll go out happy I reckon. 
 
To stay on topic, I think the Triple Crown FK/FS/GR idea is a good one.
