  1. I went with Parris strictly based off high school season career. Parris had one loss and that was semis to Osborn his freshman year, Osborn went on to win it. B lee had one loss but it was ticket round to bethel, I believe bethel beat a few highly touted kids in his careers, another one with the last name Lee also lol but if we are going as far as wrestling career, it’s cut and dry B lee because of his national success at many many different tourneys.
  2. I think mike is talking about a kid with rumphs kind of career. Started wrestling in 9th on JV with a few varsity matches, placing as a sophomore, at a weight which included red Lee and black, runner up as a junior losing to black, and winning it all his senior year. I can’t think of anyone who had that kind of success right out of the gates. And I don’t know if we will see a kid like that at a lower weight to do so.
  3. Done with the pre-season rankings yet? Asking for a friend
  4. Cathedral has 4 very tough guys in the finals as well. Both came to wrestle today that’s for sure.
  5. Cathedral is going to smash the team score record. Wow they are putting on a show
  6. We are the Jamaican bobsled team
  7. Maybe portage also? Idk they have legit shots at 106 120 126 138 and 145 with a few guys who could place. Brownsburg has legit shots at 5. Idk about cathedral maybe 2? But they can place a lot too. Whoever can get the most bonus points out of these three I think will win.
  8. And? It’s gotta be all or nothing. There was nothing wrong with the celebration after beating a guy that has beat him the past two weeks. Emotions run high in those types of matches. I’m just saying, all or nothing. And it wasn’t even an official that was reffing the match.
  9. But next week celebrations are fine and no unsportsmanlike conducts are given.
  10. Washington Portage over lemley Chesterton 12-6
  11. Any match that Reece Humphrey hit his signature “humpnasty” duck.
  12. I see no problem in a takedown/cut situation. It’s not the better wrestlers fault that he is indeed the better wrestler, I look at it as a drill match. I’m sure they both had to cut weight, what’s the point of cutting weight for a 10 second pin. We challenge our kids to get as many takedowns they can in a match, no matter who the opponent is. I guess I have a different mindset since that’s what we did in my days at Portage. Just my opinion.
  13. Calls it after Kasper shows his hand. No possible way that ref could see the slight second of locked hands. Terrible call, robbed Kasper, the Indians, and Indiana wrestling a champ.
  14. I guess only time and wrestle off will tell.
  15. He has been on our JV the past three years. Got his chance to shine and hasn’t been a disappointment at all.
  16. Jacob Moran wins 15-6 in the semis and will be wrestling national ranked #1 Jacob Decatur in the finals at brecksville
  17. Negative consequences for resting starters who are sick?! Lmao you gotta be joking me! I pray McGinely (sp?) and crew never have to rest a few starters due to illness and lose. God forbid a kids health being more important then some local tournament win. But you wanna say they should drop in the rankings, lmao give cathedral the top spot. Brownsburg at full strength runs through that tourney like a hot knife through butter.
  18. So in your drunk and bored rant you’re saying it’s a bad thing for a coach to hold on kids that are sick and place back ups? #1 or not, a wrestlers health is more important then winning a tourney or being ranked #1. Kudos to Snyder and his crew. They say drunk thoughts speak the sober mind.
  19. I thought he enrolled early to PSU, and has been in the room since Jan? I could be wrong
  20. I'd go with the two time world champ. That's me, but what a match it would be!
  21. Article on flo that claims Lee has had a torn ACL since January.
  22. Such a great guy. Huge loss to the Indiana wrestling family. Thoughts and prayers to his family.
  23. Right, how many times do you see a state finals match include the #1 ranked and I believe nick was #5 if I'm not mistaken in the COUNTRY. Also red won flo, super 32, whose number 1. But you're right, it's terrible for a 1 point match against another Indiana kid who is going to the best wrestling college in the country currently.
