@TeamGarcia & @Mattyb and I were just talking yesterday about that pic of him in the hospital bed after he had a very un-fortunate medical situation and how far he has come since then.
OK OK OK lets just all take a breath and cool down on this guys..................... The General Loves his guys and other's on here love their guys, lets all just hope this COVID crap doesn't take over and we get to finish the season and the kids all stay safe and healthy along the way.

After we beat Davidson last week, a friend of mine from Lowell, MI was like “You guys are going to kill everyone in Indiana”.   I immediately said something like Indiana teams are no joke this year.  Wait until you see Crown Point’s team next Saturday.  He called me last night on his  way home from Crown Point.  He asked when dual state was and said he wanted to come watch the dual between us and Crown Point.  I told him you still haven’t seen the teams from Mater Dei or Center Grove, etc.  He couldn’t believe anyone could be competitive with Brownsburg or Crown Point.   I again told him Indiana wrestling is reaching a different level.  
 
I talked to Hawkins last night about the potential dual.  First thing is we both know we have to get there.  It won’t be an easy task.  All that being said, the Purple and Red Dogs have a great relationship.  We hope to both make the finals at dual state and put on a show for the ages.

I’ll just say that my staff and I - especially Mike Morgan - were very, very curious whether Davison would participate this Saturday at Crown Point. It was the main topic of conversation on the way home from Michigan.  
 
All that being said, this is going to be an incredible tournament.  Thank you to Crown Point for giving Indiana a national level tournament within our state rules.  We are committed this year and as long as I’m the head coach here.  We have Brecksville, OH after crown point.  I asked our guys today, “ Who made your schedule so hard?!?!”  Lol

Going to be a great day of wrestling!  Looking forward to having so many great wrestlers, teams, and coaches at the Carnahan.  It's exciting to bring a National level tournament to Indiana, and even better to bring all this talent to the Region.  Hope everyone enjoys the event, and is ready to blow the roof off the gym.
 
Coach Snyder, always looking forward to having Brownsburg at the Carnahan, and appreciate you and your team taking a chance on the Carnahan two years ago.  Always fireworks between the Red and Purple Bulldogs, and this Saturday should be no different!

There is still time to get Bishop Sycamore to step in for Davison.  I’m sure those guys can take vacation day from their jobs to make the event. 

Seems like an eternity ago, but this bburg team easily walked away with the ISWA elementary state duals championship 6years ago, the only elementary dual state win in our record.  I helped build and coach that amazing team; and now it is even stronger.  Despite SWINfans blustering and attempts to spin current reality, this brownsburg team is the strongest that we've seen, better even than the BLee and the super 4 seniors that year.  If they stay healthy, doesn't matter what seed they get, they will roll through everyone. 

Seems it wasn't but several days ago that this poster was talkin about how EMD won this prestigious and tough tourney 3 years ago and implied bburg could only get 3rd two years runnin.  Some people seem to have very short memory, or selective memory when it suits their desired message

Davison, Michigan- ranked 8th in the country - isn’t a top ranked team. 🤔 
 
I think you did mean to “take something away” from Brownsburg.  We are still riding back from representing Indiana in Michigan.  We got a good chuckle out of it.  Nothing but respect for Mater Dei.  They have taken us out two years in a row at dual state.  Davison, however, is a pretty solid high school wrestling team.

Thank you to my #thecounty boys for the support! The Cadets are climbing! We will take on Owen Valley and Monrovia this weekend. Also wrestle Centerville December 18th. We will show what we are made of. Currently averaging 55 points a dual and only allowing 24. Not bad for a team that’s only wrestled 1 1A school in their first 7 duals. We will continue to work we just hope everyone is watching! Columbia Blue and Black are coming for you!

They have a full line up that is beating some solid 2a 3a and 4a teams. Being located in an area where the kids got to wrestle this whole off season at a couple of the finest academies in the country has helped them also. The cadets have put in the work and deserve a shot. 

As far as state qualifiers… they go to the toughest sectional and regional in the state! How many other 1a teams have to face all those ranked kids just to make it to semistate. I’m guessing that the cadets have one of the toughest if not the toughest routes to the bridge then any other 1a team. 
 
Their current season results speak for themselves. There are no other 1a representatives from this area. Do we not want teams from all areas represented?

No qualifiers or placers but 3 in the semi state rankings with another with 2 wins over semi state ranked guys. My 113 has drawn Coy Hammack 2 years in a row at semi state he looks to finally punch his ticket this year. Covid hit this squad hard last year lots of guys out through the year with quarantine. Only 3 seniors on the team and only 2 in the varsity line up. Have my 160/170 ranked in the state as well. Solid team and we will be battle tested! Our schedule will only continue to improve!! Again thank you everyone for supporting the Cadets we still have work to get to though. Hope to show everyone on January 9th!

Elementary Gold placed 3rd overall with a team record of 7-1 and had 5 All Americans: Case Bridge, Justin Williamson, Colin Strayer, Lucas Boe & Ben Clark, and named team co-MVP's as Lucas Boe & Ben Clark
 
Elementary Blue placed 13h overall with a team record of 5-3 and named team MVP as Peyton Hornsby
 
MS Gold placed 9th overall with a team record of 7-1 and had 3 All Americans: Peyton Schoettle, Gunner Butt, Devin Kendrex and named team MVP as Devin Kendrex 
 
MS Blue placed 22nd overall with a team record of 2-6 and had 1 All American: Gavin Lewis who was also named team MVP
 
**All American was achieved with a no loss record on the wknd 

Yes, numbers were low this year as it was tough timing for the wrestle off's being during spring break.  My issue is that when we had them in February people complained it was too early because it was hard for kids to get back to weight in April.  We couldn't hold it in early March because I had no idea until closer to time when we were going to be able to hold Folkstyle state and how many weekends it was going to take so we landed on this date as being the real only choice this year.
 
With that said it doesn't help that we have lots of people out encouraging other things and discouraging people from wanting to be part of the ISWA National Team trip (I won't go into specifics, but like Spencer Lee says "if you know you know").
 
Its OK, we have several kids that are getting the great opportunity and will get better and benefit from the trip.
We do however need the following weights filled for MS team if anyone wants the opportunity and or wants to help get kids out there.
MS 132,140,195 & HWT (2)

Thanks, means a lot, I hope in the near future I can bring some fire on the wrestling mat as well as I start my collegiate career.
