Very sorry everyone. I was on a 2 week trip moving my family from East Africa to the U.S., and just got back on Sunday.
 
It means some of the info behind the procedures we use for Team State qualification is behind schedule.
 
Usually we'd shoot for Wednesday/Thursday leaderboard release after sectional weekend. Sadly, it will be later than that, but we're hoping for getting it out before regional. Thanks for your patience!!

FYI.....I nominated a 4 year manager last year, who had a high GPA and athlete of character in other sports within our school.  She received a certificate as well.  With the nomination, I noted the dedication to our program, along with the leadership and academic accolades she achieved.  Probably a little biased, but it was my oldest daughter. 😀 
 
I plan to nominate two others this year, both also 4 year managers, 4.0+ GPA, and display leadership within our school and program.   

South has shone some moxie this year. I’m not sure Washington has a chance to AA, as I thought this year. He has a problem of getting off bottom , and if he doesn’t attack all the time, he gives up too much. We’ll see. Great team effort again. Needed every one.

But, for Wrestling, people are just going to have to travel for a year.  WOW, right there in "print". IHSAA doesn't give 2 you know whats about Wrestling. Par for the course...

Seriously though, given the position this is at now, I agree, the logical conclusion is to have it at Ft Wayne or Evansville. No way it's feasible to move it or keep it in the Indy area as stated. Ship has sailed.
 
Realize the NBA schedule change was out of the IHSAA's control and lots of $$$ involved. However, I still think this could have been planned better and definitely communicated better.   Maybe the reporter in the earlier article left things out or Neiding from the IHSAA was misquoted. Either way not a good optic IMO. I still say it's par for the course, 1st round not scored, "ticketgate", having to wait until late Friday night to get Saturday tickets, then system doesn't work... I will stop know, there are others, but all seem to demonstrate lack of planning, communication & execution. Just my .02c
 
Lastly, hoping it's smooth sailing from here and folks can purchase the stream without a Flo subscription!
 
 

I’d just like to say this may be the most talented pool of Ft. Wayne wrestlers I’ve ever had to rank in the last 7 years. Top ten really doesn’t do some weight’s depth(113, 120, 195) any justice as there are some very quality kids on the outside looking in. The top ten at 152-170 are absolute meatgrinders that could go plenty of different ways. The gap between being #5 and #10 is so marginal at over half the weights.

The Maconaquah regional as a whole. A few years ago they were the butt of a lot of jokes on this forum, now they’re possibly the deepest of the four. Don’t think people want to draw into that #1 as much as they used to.
 
Freshman, who just seem to keep popping up on the radar more and more each week. I don’t have numbers for proof, but I’m feeling confident that this year probably has the most freshman I’ve ever put in the rankings/on the watch list.
 
Garrett, who seems to have a knack for “upsetting” kids with great resumes this year and giving me an aneurism trying to figure out what to do.

Good back and forth dual. Each team seemed to step up. Would have liked to see more asses in seats. Next week I think the crowd will be larger. Lee and company will be in town with the rest of the rodents.

with his only legit loss coming to Todd 7-6.. They are 2-1 lifetime and had a doozy earlier this season.. Brevs other "loss" was a Mat return vs Rushville that was called as a slam, which I won't even get started on.
 
 
 
3. #14 Kolton Rhonemus  24-3 Delta is comes from a bloodline Of Champions with his father being a state qualifier and Kolton being a hammer himself with many notable wins including 7-1 win over Kiner , we should and could see a Match with Him vs my guy Thrine in the semis! 
 
4. #15 Kiner 24-5 of Mt Vernon is battle tested with only losses to State ranked gamers including a win over the 4th Place medalist Dillon Graham of Cathedral. Kiner vs Todd could be  fireworks.
