If 7 State Qualifiers from the Castle Regional is not proof that it is, then I don't know what else to say. And that is not 7 from the SIAC either. I believe the MD 4 is it for the SIAC. There was one year (I can't recall the year but I posted the numbers that year) when the SIAC alone had 24 or 25 State Qualifiers. Obviously MD lead the way with like 11 or 12 that year. Told everyone Mooresville Regional, Hendricks County, Johnson County and surrounding areas will become that Hot Bed of Indiana wrestling. #’s and stats don’t lie . Castle is going downhill more and more every year North is getting better but they can’t compete when it gets to semi state. Central is off the mAp Harrison and Reitz aren’t getting any better. Bosse is never good Jasper and Vincennes can’t compete when it gets to semi state either. I 100% agree Mooresville Regional is an absolute meat grinder. I was really scratching my head on the Southport Sectional Re-Alignment. Southport Sectional dropped several IPS schools, and picked up North Central, Lawrence N, Lawrence Central, and Mount Vernon. They all joined Perry Meridian, Roncalli, and Southport. The Perry Regional has always been tough, but has turned into quite a meat grinder as well. Franklin, Jennings, Indian Creek, Madison, East, North etc will be bringing up some hammers in the next few years. #TheRiverIsRising in the South.... watchout!!!
