JMILL
there must be a mistake in your predictions as 160 had no Yorktown name listed backtothemat
rjford32
I understand however because 160 may be one of the more competitive weight classes it's a toss up in my opinion. Also I do not know which weight Remo heistand will be wrestling, which is why he is listed at 2. **
backtothemat
I think there was a trace of sarcasm in JMILL's reply. Just a smidge.

et1
Hangen and Little should be a good finals feel like that could go either way. I'll take Heistand over Phillips at HWT. jabber212
rjford32
The 220 final will be a good one but Little out wrestles Hangen in my opinion. They wrestle tough competition year round which gives a competitive edge to Little. Heistand and Maddox should be a good final at 182. How is Myron-Howard? Wrestling? Still injured? Sportsgal_99
Speaking of that hwt division...someone please explain to me how the #2 seeded wrestler doesn't have to wrestle until the semi-finals, but the #1 seed does? Why do all of the others in the weight class have a bye the first round except the #1 seed?? I'm just not seeing where being #1 in this weight class is an advantage. Isn't that supposed to be the point of seeding and rewarding the higher seeds?
FANMAN
I hope you are kidding, Phillips has a first round forfeit. There are only 7 hvy's as it is. 6 of them are seeded which left the 7th to be randomly drawn in, into either a 2nd round match with the 1 or 2 seed. It was 50/50 as to who he could get. Really difficult stuff here.

Actually the #1 seed SHOULD have the forfeit in the quarter-finals as per the IHSAA's Winter Bulletin the first drawn unseeded WRESTLER fills in at the 7th seed or 13th line on a 16 man bracket. Since the Delta Sectional has multiple weights in which the #1 seed did not get the forfeit in the quarters but rather a different wrestler received that forfeit does that mean that our brackets are wrong? rjford32
Did Clark beat Phillips at the conference? Clark CAUGHT Phillips at the conference. He was up with a 7-3 lead and literally fell on top of him as Phillips was working for a well over due stalling call. Given the fact that he is giving up 40 pounds to wrestle HWT, thats tough weight to get off of you. If Clark makes it past George to get to the semis, the true result will be revealed. The physical wrestlers should be drawn first with the first one paired with the 2nd seed and second wrestler drawn paired with the 1st seed. Then after that random drawn rest of the wrestlers. Forfeits are always drawn last in order to have as full of an 8 man bracket as possible.
