Like I said I haven't seen him wrestle but I've seen Gettinger a lot and every time I watch him he impresses me so that's why I went with him... don't let the two techs by Phillips fool you. Wow, this kind of an odd year in that we have 3 McGinley's predicted to go to state but none of them are from Cathedral. Charlie is Sean's (Cathedral coach's) nephew, and brother to Tom, Timmy and Gavin, who all wrestled at Cathedral. Barry is Sean's cousin's son, and brother to Tony McGinley who wrestled for Cathedral a few years ago. As far as I know, the McGinley from GC isn't related. grappleapple Posted February 7, 2011 Share Posted February 7, 2011 Alex Catron is a force at 125. He was winning when he slipped up and got pinned by Batt but other than that he hasn't lost. fanatic46041 Posted February 7, 2011 Share Posted February 7, 2011 After this weekend would not be shocked to see all 3 Frankfort boys make it out....119 Perez looked very impressive and strong Hwt Howard pinned 40-0 #9 wallace and beat #19 melby....lawson @ 140 has some quality losses and lost to white 3-2 in the finals after getting caught with 40 sec left....Miller @145 from Rossville has only loss to Scurria both finals of Sectional and Regional....just my opinion, thats why we wrestle the matches!!!! Catron is a great wrestler but honestly even if he didnt get caught by Batt he still would have lost by points. Batt was in total control of that match.
