  1. Catron got a very, very rough draw. Kieffer will be no easy task but things happen when you have two high caliber wrestlers together like that. Very much depends on style match up.
  2. Camdon Eppert and Brandon Wright were like this if i'm not mistaken. They may have started at regionals.
  3. Southsidedad is right in the fact he would be great at any weight. He was a great lightweight back when he was in middle school too. Remember him winning a tournament in Bloomington at 100 or 105 pound class. And forget football go wrestle in college
  4. I like zachpeirson's picks the most so far; even the 3rd's and 4th's look right. 140 will throw the thing off though watch out for McCoy he had a couple close ones with Levi before and I think his conditioning will beat these kids in the third period. That's the only discrepancy i saw and a little too much generosity to the Shen. wrestlers. ;D ;D (and Fletcher will take 189 )
  5. Indiana mat, work your magic fast! I am anxious.
  6. I would have say Ethan Raley because winning the Super 32 is no small feat. The Keifer was better than him at the classic on that day, but I have a feeling we all in for a surprise when state finals come around.
  7. I like your picks bulldog. 119 will be wild. I watched the Mcfarland boy at 119 vs the ranked Kendle and if his takedown shows up he can pull some nasty upsets. That's why we go though right, for the upsets baby! (as long as it isn't my wrestlers though )
  8. YO someone already mentioned it, but you have to hear The realest Sport by TP and Esco. Here's a link, enjoy! The Realest Sport
  9. I actually learned this weekend from first hand experience that if there are any holes in it big enough for a finger to get in, it is an automatic penalty point for the other wrestler. To the wrestlers with their old, lucky, worn out knee pads, beware. PS: the big Brute knee pads are my fav.
  10. I went to a Northeastern match tonight and saw, then confirmed Cody Handley (currently rated at 135), is now at 130.
  11. There was a bunch of great wrestling today Shout out to the Gettinger boy bumping up for the better matches at 119 although he lost against Venezia (he lost 4-3 very good match) and Cambell(fall ) still tough considering the weight difference. And to the other Connersville wrestler who came in clutch against the ranked Cody Kendle winning with a last second takedown.
  12. 119 Venezia vs Campbell... Cambell won 130 Decker vs Harvey... Decker weighed 135 and didn't wrestle against Cathedral 160 Willis vs Decker... Decker dropped to 145
  13. It's all about match-ups and not wasting your best on their best if you wanna win the dual. For the guy that you just bumped into the best guy in state, "There's a pawn in every chess match." ;D
  14. 135 is stacked right now with another ranked wrestler dropping down. Top 4 are all ranked and I also heard Levi Rose from New Castle is coming down to 135 for this weekend. Those that aren't ranked anywhere gotta stay hungry and consistent.
  15. Jerad did not wrestle this year. He still goes to Union County, but is not on the wrestling team. It didn't have anything to do with the tantrum he threw at regionals.
  16. No weight in particular, just in general. I was confused through your system. I thought the way to do it was to basically rank all the kids that aren't ranked on the official state rankings, but underneath these ranked wrestlers. Doesn't what I'm saying make a little sense? If you are ranked in the state and the random isn't shouldn't you then, in turn, be above them?
  17. Yes he does a good job, but why not go by the rankings guy for at least the first few spots? The Rankings guy is known for doing his homework. And I was in no way bashing wrestlers; I just observed inconsistency.
  18. What are you doin with Decker from New Castle? Not only have I seen him in 4 different weight classes, but he is over ranked, bottom line. Why don't you follow the RankingsGuy? I don't get hardly any of these. You have people ranked lower on here than they are officially ranked in the state? Come on now.
  19. There is nothing wrong with spreading out the ranked kids. No its not a seeded tournament so the basically those who aren't ranked are basically just riding on luck that they don't have to face an animal in the first round. They had the same chance of facing the best guy first this way or the other way that produces more anticipated match ups. Nothing is more boring than a one sided finals match.
  20. I may be mistaking, but i thought Handley at 135 went down to 30 last weekend. I tried finding them on the results, but i'm still not sure. Can someone check up on this. I don't know if Northeastern is at the classic this year but i still didn't see him in the 135 bracket.
  21. To this guy that doesn't matter. He is just saying he is fed up in general with adults setting poor examples for us wrestlers. I am curious also, but it is irrelevant really.
