Randy, Madison kids get it honest...I was booed out of my home gym at Regionals my senior year... 

Here are my guidelines for Booing.  I only boo people that have the last name Clark, Skinner, Bentz, Struck or the first names Tom, Tyson, Dustin, Danny.  Those guys are horrible!!!!!!

In the hangout I went on a tirade about booing 14-18 year old kids. I also talked about sometimes we, has fans and posters, go overboard on here about how we talk about kids. 
 
Last year in the 3rd place match at 160 the fans booed a call in a match I was coaching. It was a no takedown call that got called after the whistle. In the heat of the moment it seemed like they were booing Partee for winning, when they were booing the ref for the initial no takedown call. I think times like that border on being okay, but still....
 
Never boo when wrestlers are on the podium, never boo when they are being interviewed (!!!) , never boo when they are getting their hand raised...
 
I found myself booing at the end of the Osborn/Paris match, I even got on here and expressed my feelings about the official. When the match ended I shut up. I did not boo when Osborn's hand was raised.
 
I'm just saying booing is going to happen, let's focus it at guys like GrecoRef and not a 15 year old kid who could have a backstory that none of us know?? (I joke, don't ever boo GrecoRef...he's an almost okay guy)

TripleB knows about having a kid BBBBOOOOOOOODDDDDDDD out of a gym.   Worst situation I ever saw, and really felt bad for his coaching staff then.    But it is pretty funny now.

He could stall for 5 minutes and not get called and go on to win a state title by a point or in OT and feel like he actually deserve it.  I would boo that kid.  I am also booing this thread. Booo thread, Booooo.

I'm a huge Parris fan, but he seemed too timid in the first period and was taken down multiple times by Osborne. I only counted maybe 3-4 shots from Parris. I think nerves got the best of him. Great match. Wish the ref would have called the stalling at the end.

That's usually a nasty semi state or state topic about kids w no chance. I'm glad that one died.

In a dream world it would be like the KY state finals.  Modeled EXACTLY after the NCAA's if I am correct.  3 day event, 32 wrestlers, 6 sessions...a true celebration of our sport and the hard working athletes that we all respect so much.
 
But that would never fly.
 
I have wondered if the arena could hold 8 mats though?  like the NCAA's do in very simillar arenas.  If we could have 8 mats then we could expand the field and not use anymore time.
 
Pie in the sky dreams.  The IHSAA would never be interested in putting that much effort and thought into whats best for the kids.

One of the best articles written on here hands down. Y2 and I had our back and forths over the years but I must concede; you do a lot for Indiana wrestling. It's not easy to admit when you are wrong. GEN Heavy Handz was wrong when I was mocking you. We may not agree on who is going to win or who technique is superior; but we both love this sport. My sons were surprised when you gave them some pointers last year at RTC. They knew about the tense moments we had. You didn't hold my big mouth against them. That's classy stuff. Rivalries are good for the sport, I want to end our one-sided one now. Thanks for highlighting the Davis-Streeter Rivalry. We think it's special. ~Gen Weighty Paws.

The asterisk puts the exclamation point of a bad day for Mater Dei. Schaefer could have been Lemony Snickets, because it was a series of unfortunate events.
