And there is also not a set number of state qualifiers.  If you are 5th in your regional but run/jump or throw "state standard" you advance to state also.   One athlete can also compete in 4 events, not just 1 weight class. 

There is also 1 less level in the state series in Track and Field.   No Semi State

Great news for the Ohio Valley, we have cleared the way with our athletic department to bring back the historical "Falls Cities" individual tournament to New Albany High School.

I concur with my brother @TeamGarcia .. it was a great experience. Soooo happy I booked a room for last night. 
 
I love the venue. The wrestling was amazing. 
 
Not allowing people leave is ridiculous. It’s not a 2 hour basketball game. I just kept buying new tickets to leave.

Why not just eliminate regionals?  Combine the two sectionals from each regional and make one big sectional.  Regionals is the most redundant part of the tournament.  No reason to have a month long state tournament.
