I am glad to see the two of you hold a high school senior to a higher standard than yourselves!  To say the match was getting "chippy" would be fitting. The "chippyness" was certainly one sided. So to lean over and whisper a compliment and the end shows a lot more restraint than you and your hurt feelings. You had to create an account to call out a kid. They're too busy eating crow.. I've had me some of that before🤣

I’m sure he was a little of both.
 
The kid recovered from a head injury and got cleared by medical professionals in a week. That means he most likely took extra caution with his body, most likely couldn’t practice, found a way to make weight, and beat a really good semistate champ. 
 
Congratulations to the champ. I will be rooting for him all weekend (regardless of how he looks to others).

Slivka is one of the best big match wrestlers in Indiana history. He had wins over multiple top ranked high schoolers last year. And has beaten more of those guys this year. He just gets the job done. Slivka is a hammer on top and underrated on his feet. I’m unaware of any national ranked kids that Dickens has beat. Slivka has beaten a handful. With that said, that’s the reason that Slivka gets my nod. I’m using logic and facts.
 
EMD fans are pumped for their guy. As they should be. Again, silly debate but a fun one. Obviously the Dickens win is fresh and 90 percent of EMD fans will give Dickens the nod. It is what it is. 
 
With all of that said, most posters on here have never won a title and will never have family member win a title. They will never know the joy or help put the work in to win a title. So.. when you get on here and say a KID will smoke another KID, it is kinda insulting to a family that actually put in the work, took the kid to privates, took the kid to academy, took the kid all over the USA, the money that was spent, the sleep that was missed, the days of work missed, the tudors that were payed for, getting up at 5:00am to help the kid work out and meal prep, the “vacation” time that was spent in the middle of Iowa. So before you go off running your mouth behind your anonymous screen name, be considerate of what people went through and know that they are prideful. Make your logical picks or homer picks, but you need to be respectful of other people’s sacrifices. Calm down cowboys.

The ISWA has held elementary State duals for 10 years now. My guys have got 1st or 2nd every year and 5 titles. Pretty solid run. 
 
And... I’ll say it before Lewis does.... trophy chasing! 

Okay, let me start off with four premises: 1) I'm a homer for Southport, 2) I'm not the person who posted about love for Southport & Franklin Central (but good for them), 3) I am fully aware Southport is not in Perry's constellation (or Brownsburg, MD, Warren, Roncalli, Franklin Community, etc), 4) And most importantly, I do not want to start a flame war.
 
That said, I noticed that Fishers and Franklin Central made the overall ranking at 19 and 20 (Fishers beat Franklin Central 35-32). And again, good for them. 
 
But, I want to point out that against common opponents at last weekend's New Castle Duals, Southport was the better of the two. Perhaps they were missing some wrestlers, but nevertheless the scores below might be instructive. I'm not trying to take anything away from Fishers or Franklin Central, but just asking for a measly point or two of consideration for Southport.

With that said... I have been going after good ol @PhillyFanMD. He is just a kid on here running his mouth and busting chops. Sits behind a screen name and takes shots at people and other kids. It is really kind of funny though. I think @V and M's Dad has a troll issue on another thread. It happens. We all know guys like him.
 
Real EMD fans and parents are some of the finest people that I have ever met.
 
Congrats to Brody on a great win! He can make a deep run this year. Good luck young fella!

going to be relevant. Only to have it discredited within minutes of it going up. Now what should you do?
Finally an epiphany I can say what WC did to PM last year at the state finals.Yes that is it, that will make
me look  like a tough guy.
