  5. Also Luke Long from Lakeland. I'm assuming he chose not to participate?
  6. I agree that I would rather read posts about sportsmanship than threads with people being childish, or even things like "Red vs. Lee who will win". I am also very glad that we do have great kids who show sportsmanship and it is nice for them to get praise for behaving and representing themselves and their schools in a good manor. It just seems like it we were getting a little out of hand by praising everyone who basically didn't throw a fit after losing or over-celebrate after winning.
  7. Like everyone else, I am always glad to see wrestlers whom are good sports whether they win or lose. There are a couple recent examples in other threads. While I am glad that we do have wrestlers like this, should we really be praising them every time they are a good sport? In my opinion it is how every wrestler should act. I know that it does not always work out that way, but it seems like we are surprised every time a wrestler does something they should already be doing. Are kids such bad sports these days that it is abnormal, or do people just feel the need to praise everyone for everything? I think the second is more likely.
  8. Agree with Glogouski. He is always doing a funky flip, grabbing a leg and usually coming out on top.
  9. A couple I noticed that could have a chance is Kellen VanCamp from Lebanon and 145 and a long shot at 220 in Bradley Sadilek from Carroll. Beating Tolley in the first round may be a bit of a stretch though.
  10. Agree with Clayton Moore. He looked great at Ft. Wayne. It is too bad he got put in the same bracket as Wilson. I am prediciting him to finish 5th or 6th this weekend.
  11. I can't agree more. I was sitting above his cheering section and I couldn't help but to cheer him on as well. He wrestled great and I think he will perform well this weekend. Also, I had never seen anyone who was happier than him and his dad. Seems like a great kid and a great family. Good Luck Clayton!
  12. The entire 120 is full of some amazing talent. Will be a fun weight to watch.
  13. Davis is definetly somebody. He is a great wrestler. I just don't think he is quite on the level of Micic or Lee. Although anything can happen at state... Assuming Micic and Lee are on different halves. I have Micic wining 6-5 under the lights.
  14. Will Goshen's closing of school today effect tomorrow at all?
  15. It's always nice to see an article praising wrestling from someone who never wrestled.
  16. Can someone please tell me the dates and times for state. I'm sure there is another thread, but I can't find it. Thanks!
  17. There might be a thread already, but incase there isn't you can vote for Kyle Dake for best Male College Athlete at http://espn.go.com/espys/2013/ It would be nice to see a wrestler get the recognition he deserves ;D
  18. Seems like they were bashing celebrating. Not anyone in particular... With that said, I say as long as it isn't a 30 second celebration, then let them have their 10 seconds of fun.
  19. Which means the first round wont start until 6:15...
  20. Phillips over glogouski 16-4
  21. I do belive the wrestlebacks should be a part of semi-state, but until they are I think this says it perfectly.
  22. Good to know about Peckham. Will have to look for a hopefully exciting match.
