Evansville is not bad. I think we were still home by 7 even with the 3 hour drive

And y’all will be there for semi-state already, should be easy enough

our kids have to take themselves down there to qualify but they all liked it

Was thinking about this one last night over a cold one. I think the ref allowed them to stay in that position so long because the Brownsburg wrestler had the EMD wrestler around the waist and if he could have rolled him or popped his head out while being in an illegal position and he could have gotten the reversal. With that said, an illegal headlock should be called upon application. Still was bad.

Cats looked awesome yesterday. People suggesting that they are not competitive in 4a are not correct. Look forward to our visits to Evansville next month!

Rochester is far and away the best team in 1A this year and would make some serious noise in 2A.  As far as seeding went, West Central went into this tournament in a no-win situation.  I was honestly just hoping for a top four seed after edging out a banged up Rochester team at the Joe Burvan Duals.  If we would’ve been seeded below Rochester, I guarantee there wouldn’t be one West Central supporter complaining about that.
WC belonged in the small gym all day long with the product we put on the mat today.  I do not post on Indianamat, I just look like thousands of others do.

However, being from one of the smallest schools in the state, competing with the great programs we did today (and in 2014, 2015 and 2023), it’s always been humbling and great for us.  Congratulations to all teams that competed today.

I ain't like that.  I ordered two hot dogs, a pretzel, and a coke and I was good for most of the day.  Just a side note, I don't even eat hot dogs all that often, but for some reason enjoying a hot dog at a wrestling meet or tournament puts a smile on my face.

I got to spend this past weekend at Mooresville highschool.  Since I was there for two days, I prayed to to the hot dog gods that they provide the Mooresville concession stand with quality dogs.  When I first walked up to the counter, I could see that the hot dogs were being prepared on those quality 7/11 rollers, so that was a great sign.  After handing over my money ($3 for a hot dog) I opened up the wrapper and what I saw brought a tear to my eye.  In front of me was a plump, juicy, reddish hot dog.  So, with great anticipation I took a bite, and let me tell you, the hot dog gods heard my prayers.  This hot dog could have been considered a delicacy.  Just to add to the experience, the bun was very good as well.  So, the Mooresville highschool hotdogs get 8 slices of pizza out of 8.  <chef's kiss> I'll be at Hanover Central on January 6 for a retaste of what they say us a hotdog.  Thank you for reading.

One problem I see with the seeding is for instance the #3 seed for heavyweight was Carmel he didn’t show so their JV guy got the #3 seed. So if I was a coach and I knew my wrestler was not going to wrestle I would not let anyone know till last second so there other guy would get easier matches and a higher seed. I asked and they said they won’t redo seeds unless it’s the #1.

Kind of funny how people are chiming in with their 2 cents, when they’ve done nothing to support or help grow women’s wrestling. Going from 2 state levels to 3 was necessary. Weight classes too full and not being able to finish some weight classes cause of daily match allowances. This Regional round will have minimal brackets, but it will setup for a better semi state for the girls.
