  1. I'm surprised they didn't predict all 14 weight classes would be a Region sweep!
  2. Been at Corpus Christi in Evansville since Pre-K. That is a Mater Dei feeder school. At least one of his parents is an MD alum, maybe both.
  3. Paul Konrath wins another National Championship. Congrats Paul!!
  4. Congratulations Josh. Great accomplishment!
  5. The only reason that I can think of that you would miss weight by 7 pounds is that you don't want to wrestle.
  6. Sounds like the other 13 or 14 kids from Indiana didn't have any problem making weight.
  7. "Didn't get the details from BIG's, but surely IU was up near the middle of the pack, with the success and improvement they've had these past several years. Any one with the good news?" Purdue got 10th and IU 11th.
  8. Don't believe that is true. http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2016/feb/16/nic-wrestler-deondre-wilson-coach-pat-whitcomb-sus/
  9. Huh?? Who said they're meaningless??? I bet every wrestler in the finals would love to be finished with their match so they could watch Chad and Nick go at it. The order of matches would not matter one bit to those kids and NONE of them would feel disrespected.

    Lee's

    Paul would smoke Brendan Black!
  11. Here is the full video: http://highschoolsports.pennlive.com/news/article/5981953647135719330/cumberland-valley-wrestling-wins-controversial-district-3-class-3a-team-final-with-key-wins-key-saves-and-a-bizarre-tense-finish/
  12. You people picking Malloy over Lee know absolutely nothing about wrestling!
  13. Not so fast my friend. They are related. A couple generations ago a part of the family dropped the "R".
  14. Wilderman wrestled 220 last year but never weighed more than 195. He had a hell of season giving up at least 25-30lbs every match as a sophomore.
  15. My bad. MD has 13 through with 10 in the finals.
  16. Mater Dei got all 14 through to Regionals
  17. I heard he graduated and joined the Navy. Best wishes to him.
  18. He's on Trackwrestling at 132. Can you change now?
  19. Don't overlook Wilderman at 195. He beat Tonte 10-5 and his only loss was to Nationally ranked champion from Kentucky.
  20. Jourdan never weighed close to 160. Was usually less than 150.
  21. I think Jordan by a lot. I don't see it being close.
  22. Mater Dei won 65-3. Luigs bumped up to 126 and beat Craig 8-0. Mater Dei's backup 120 lost 6-4.
