We love the idea. Gives Jesse a chance to avenge a loss from last year at Super32 to Jack and then wrestle another amazing wrestler at same event. Giving Jesse a shot at 2 extremely tough matches in one day is totally worth it. Side note: Willie asked Jesse if he was ok with making it a 4 man bracket and he said he was down to wrestle anyone. It is definitely the hardest way to defend his ranking, but I am really excited to hopefully watch him wrestle twice at Carver Hall.

What? I didn't say it would be centrally located...but when I do I'll make a bullet train from Evansville to Fort Wayne.

I can’t lie.... what we have now is awesome. The drive may suck for those from way south. I think it is worth the drive. Just my opinion.

I would like to see us utilize the Pepsi Coliseum for Team State, but from what they powers that be told me is that it is very expensive to rent. We would probably also need the adjacent arena also to fit all the mats for the event. When I win the lottery I will build a wrestling only facility that can host NCAAs and every big event every year.

Yeah, coming from Evansville is not quite as awesome. I look forward to Y2 winning the lottery someday and building something a little more centrally located.

I believe this years incoming class of 6th graders will be full of some top level talent including kids who have been wrestling for years in big tournaments. You have kids like Kyle Harden, Parker Reynolds, Revin Dickman, Evan Stanley, Nate Rioux, Landon Hawkins, Griffin Van Tichelt, Clinton Shepard, Jeffrey Huyvaert, Asher Ratliffe, Miguel Rojas, Jett Goldsberry, and Brant Beck. I’m sure I’m leaving some others out.

I know he has been demoted to youth videotographer with the Portage Wrestling Club.
