  3. After watching the 2019 IHSAA state finals again for the 5th time, I would have to say the best, most exciting, back-to-back matches by teammates has to be Rodgers @152 & Slivka @ 160. Elliott needed to win to secure at least a tie in the team race. He was losing late in the third period and it didn’t look like he was going to get it done. Rodgers wins in OT!!!! WOW! Then his teammate Jordan is wrestling a national ranked wrestler, Washington. Jordan, the underdog, gets taken down early and It looks like Washington is in control. If Jordan wins, he secures the title for Cathedral. Jordan had the same scenario last year, where he had to win the clinch the team title. He did it last year and did it again this year. Just an awesome back-to-back performance from both wrestlers. The best I have ever seen by teammates.

  4. Adman Central has had a lay head coach for last 12 years. We hold a free elementary camp each season right before club sign ups. This is always well attended and we pick up some new kids for the club each year. We had 75 elementary club kids this year, our biggest numbers maybe ever. Solid numbers for a 1A school. The other big thing is to build relationships and be visible year round. The youth baseball fields is the place to be in Monroe all summer. Visibility and relationships may be a little easier in a small community where the coaches have grown up.

  5. Bryan Bailey @Brey and his boys have made their marks on the mat. With that said, Bryan is currently providing more opportunities for more kids than any single person that I know of here in Indiana. The Baileys are the best wrestling family going. Just sayin

Congrats to you boys! To be honest my guy was getting little interest until he hit these rankings. Being In These rankings put these kids on a lot of radars that they would not be on. Indiana boys.... go find kids on these rankings. Figure out where they will be and go beat them! Due to the travel restrictions by the IHSAA, it is very hard to crack or move up in these rankings during season. Stay in shape all “off season” (which is not a real thing) and go get some big wins! Go out and get those college dollars men!
