A few of Louisville Trinity’s best kids still haven’t wrestled yet. This might be their first of the season. I love this tourney. All the top kids battling it out is always a blast for me. Starting off at 106 4th ranked freshman stud Nathan Rioux(Av) seems to be having his way thus far. A quick pin and a MD. Set to square off Vs Illinois stud whos pinned his way through thus far. bottom of that Brackett brings us a rematch. 14th ranked undefeated freshman Isaac Campbell(FC) will square off against Jude Heaston(IC) whom he has a 8-6 victory over. 113 keeps the fire going. top of bracket sees undefeated #4 ranked Luke Rioux(Av) Vs a young man looking to make a name for himself in Parker Wanke(VL) Don’t blink as Luke has been on a terror day 1 with a quick TF and :51 fall bottom of that bracket sees possibly an overlooked wrestler Walter Hagedorn(TC) at 23-1 on the season seeing his toughest opponent of season in 3rd ranked Jackson Heaston(IC). Can the young man pull out a major upset? 120-BUCKLE UP top of bracket see 1st of the Raney twins. Jayden(UC) will square off Vs yet another solid freshman in Quinten Schoeff(AV). Bottom half brings 2 top 10 wrestler together to battle for trip to final. Isaiah Schaefer(EMD) ranked 6th sees #8 Lane Gilbert(Sul) opposite of him. This one should be fun 126 top half sees other Raney twin(Jordyn) Vs Illinois stud Caleb Scott. Bottom half once again is worth price of admission. We have 2 top ranked seniors battling. On one side is 126 #2 ranked Evan Seng(EMD) facing off against 120 #3 ranked and undefeated Toby Billermam(PM). Sheesh 132 Top half sees 2 top 20 ranked wrestlers again. Undefeated #5 ranked Coy Hammocks (TC) battles #17 Seth Syra(Av) Bottom half brings 1 loss senior ranked #16 Keaton Morton(PM) Vs 1 loss and ranked #19 Landen Horning(EvMem) to the center of the mat. 138 top of bracket everyone gets to witness #2ranked Cheaney Schoeff(Av) at work. He’s had little work to do thus far as both matches lasted just over a 1:00 a piece. He will see Colten Schneider(MV) opposite of him and trying to get in his way. Bottom half we see a rematch from earlier in season when #14 ranked Tyler Vanover(EMD) looks for revenge Vs OVERLOOKED 26-1 Kelby Glenn(TC) 145 top half should be a good one. top ranked Ky wrestler Beane(Tr) faces a tough one in 13th ranked Keegan Williams(EvMem) Bottom half is sure to be a good one as Ky 2nd ranked Glenn Mayes(UC) will square off vs highly ranked and I believe 3rd place 2A Illinois last year wrestler Bryce Griffin(CYM). 152 Top half sees #1 ranked Bryce Lowery(Ron) vs KY #8 Max Speaker(SX). Lowery has made little work of the tourney thus far with pins of :39 and :22. Can Max give him a match, doubtful but we shall see OH Boy Bottom half sees #3 vs #6 in Hunter May(EMD) vs Tyce Dupont(TC). Can DuPont get revenge for a 5-0 loss earlier in season? 160- top half is battle of Ky top ranked fellas. Should be good bottom half sees #17 Zach Huckaby(PM) vs a solid 25-2 unranked Landon Terry(TC) who is battle tested. 170 top half sees yet another solid TC wrestler Noah Terry who comes in unranked at 26-1 facing off against Abe Wojciekiewics(CVM) who placed 3rd last year Illinois 2a Spencer Turner(EMD) is having a solid run and year thus far. Opposite of him tomorrow morning is Ky #1 ranked George Feree(Tr) 182 top half ruled by Ky bottom half sees 12th ranked Bray Emirine(Fc) face off against ky 3rd ranked Gavin Ricketts(UC) 195 LUKE HANSEN has been a machine and who can stop him? He’s got 2 matches in with total mat time of :35. Good luck to Jaylen Young(PM) Bottom half to be much more competitive I believe( no hit at Young). But we have 2 tough seniors going at it. Ky top 10 and undefeated Kashawn Brown(Uc) vs Logan Cooper(CVM) winners prize is Mr Hansen 220 top half ruled by Ky bottom half we got clay Martin(emd) vs Kale Hawk(CVM). 285 Austin Vanover(EMD) will see Ky#1 Carter Guilaume(SX) bottom half has #10 and undefeated Kelton Farmer(EvMem) facing Joseph Orisadare(Av) All this and still some solid battles in consos Note: those few that a labeled as no ranked goes toward state ranking.
