No doubt about it malloy was going 138 forte was going 145 malloy goes up and forte drops to 138 forte is a great wrestler would like to see him wrestle the best not go down to win a title stay at 145 and beat the best he can do it anyway but that's how it goes. I'm not trying to upset anyone and I'm sorry if your taking this wrong but its the truth qand you know it

Ok genius.  When was Molloy going 138 and how do you know this?  Did he wrestle at 138 and decide to go up?  How do you know it was Forte's intention to wrestle 145?  Did he call you and tell you?  Probably the truth is you read it on here and assumed it to be true.  Quit picking on the kid and by the way, if he did drop to win a state title, could you blame him?  You may have won 4 yourself, but most guys struggle to get close to winning 1.

Fact is Molloy did wrestle 138 at Super 32. Forte wrestled 138 last June at Junior Nationals. And after seeing him wrestle several times in Oct. it would seem to me that competeing at 138 is going to be a pretty good pull. I certainly wouldn't blame him for going down to 138, he's not going to beat Molloy. If he can hold is weight it will be a more managable road to the final.

Molloy has really stepped it up. At Fargo he gave Brill by far the best match he had in the tournament. Brill had wrestled 145 all year then went down to 138 for Fargo. And at super 32 Molloy dominated his way into the final loosing 5-0 to the #1 kid in the nation. IMO Molloy starts the season in a dead heat with Stevan Micic as best pound for pound.

Ok I'm sorry if your taking this the wrong way he's the best wrestler in the merr semi state all I'm saying is there two great wrestlers and would. Have like to see them wrestle not worry about rankings. To show tommys the best

Forte is a very talented kid and one of the top talents in IN. But make no mistake Stevan Micic is the top wrestler at Mville. The kid may be 116 pounds tops. IMO starts the season as best pound for pound in the state with Sliga and Molloy very close.

I have a question!

In the individual rankings at 132 you have Julian Torres behind Carithers and Burlisson.  However in the MVille semi state you have it Carithers, Torres, then Burlisson. So what I am getting out of this is that you think Torres will do better at semi state but Burlisson is a better state meet wrestler? Obviously I am just giving you a hard time. Thanks for your rankings.

Haha no it might be lined up wrong torres with the loss to carithera will be behind him but should be ahead of burlison.

River Forest's 126 pounder had a great day at LC, no idea what his name is, but he handled Vandas and Reitz with no problem.  Reitz had an impressive win over the Calumet kid in the semi's.  Not that it's any news to anyone, but the gap between Micic and Davis is huge.  I thought it would be  a closer match, but left wondering if anyone will/can score on Micic.  He's impressive, and a gracious winner.  Saw him congratulate and encourage every kid he wrestled today.  Left impressed with Micic as a wrestler and fine young man and with River Forest's kid as a wrestler.
