WC182Dad
Today we went and found out Andre has recieved another concussion his 4th in 3years either in practice or at Capital City we was told he should no longer play sports of any kind until all is taken care of. This is really painfull to our family I just found out today but this is why Dre has not been present the last couple weeks, I want to thank all the coaches, parents and wrestlers that has been like family these last 12 years excpecially Warren, Perry and Roncalli programs we will still be around supporting you all. Last week he said his heart was not in it anymore and I believe he was trying not to tell anyone how his head was truely feeling in the next week they will be doing alot of tests on his head which has been affecting his sight and making him vomit on a daily basis. We was hoping he could finish this year out but can not risk his long term health. So again Thank you to all that has supported our son and family these last 12 years and I will continue to support you all.

I'm sure though, as tough as Andre is, he will make a full recovery. See you guys soon....

MCKAJC
Very sorry to hear this. We wish you all the best in your recovery. I personally was in the same situation in College(Hockey). 4 concussions in just over 2 years. Post concussion syndrome, foggy vision, reduced peripheral vision, vomiting, headaches... I really feel for Andre and understand what he's going through. Again, best of luck in recovery!! Positive mental attitude and family support was a huge help for me as I'm sure it will be for Andre. God Bless Mike

soup45
The Campbell's here in NC will pray hard for you. We had a scare this year also with our youngest son and he is no longer allowed to wrestle until Riley finds the cause of his problems. Its difficult but the Lord is with us all and only gives us what we can handle and he takes care of the rest. I know the feeling you are having and it does change you all the way down to your soul. Keep your head up and remember we may always compeat but were always there for one another no matter what the out come. God Bless you and your family. coops99
My son has had the same problem, 3 concussions in 10 months and we have decided to retire him at the ripe old age of 15. I do know how hard it is for you and your family (especially Andre) to deal with this. For us as tough as it was to tell him your time has come to stop, it wasnt that hard because we knew the right decision to make was for his future. Good luck to your son and your family, youll be in my thoughts Craig Cooper

B Campbell
The Campbell's in West Lafayette send our best to you all! Daniel and I have enjoyed the friendly competition over the past several years, always friendly!!! Wrestling has been such a great influence on myself and my son, as I'm sure it has been for you and your family. Regardless of what happens in the wrestling world, the sport has prepared him for success in life after wrestling. Daniel has excelled in the Marine Corps and I give credit for his discipline and drive to wrestling.
