justadadnow
How can they justify Campbell as a #2 seed at 40-
NCWrestlefan
The only thing i could figure was that maybe other wrestler is returning champ. I really cant imagine any other way...
decbell1
Probably because of the fact that he is in the same weight class as the defending champion at 112. He is also 27-1. I am not trying to step on anyone's toes, but New Castle doesn't wrestler a killer schedule. (I'm not saying Huntington North does, but) By my calculations, if all of the seeds hold, Huntington North would win.
NavyGonzo
How can they justify Campbell as a #2 seed at 40-0 Randle is the returning runner-up in that weight class. I don't think it matters, because they will both be in the finals, more than likely, anyway.
soup45
Does not matter one bit, from what I've heard Brenden just wants to wrestle. It's a bad day to be a 112#er . iT'S GOING TO GET REAL FUN FROM HERE ON OUT!
RASSLER4LIFE
New Castle has wrestled decent competition. They wrestled BELLMONT, Cathedral, Westfield, East Central(though they are a bit down this year) Mason,OH, LF Harrison, New Pal to name a few. They have legitimate shots at getting 112, 119, 130, 140, 152 and 171 thru to state. Their 215 pounder has wrestled well at times. He lost to Kokomo kid ranked 3rd in OT and knocked Buchanan, from Cathedral, out of the rankings.

justadadnow
Here's my prediction. #1 NC with 8 Champions, two 3rds, two 4ths.
NCWrestle
I see NC having 7 Champs, 2 Runner-ups, 1 3rd (possibly 2) and a 4th place....Just my thoughts. All I know is, gonna be some people bringing it to Huntington ;D
jakeum1970
What is going to interesting is how many NC, HN, and Marion have in the finals. I see each school having 8. Luckily for Marion, they should only see New Castle three times in the finals, at 135, 152 and possibly at 171. HN will probably see them at 112,119,130. Team wise, New Castle has to be the favorite but this year it won't be a blow out like years past.

NavyGonzo
Crazy to see a returning SQ seeded 6th (Bryant) He's had to wrestle alot of quality opponents so far this year @ 112. Plus, the FW semi state was very weak at 103 last year.

decbell1
Comparing a wrestler with zero losses to a wrestler with one loss doesn't mean much unless they have common opponents.
jddown
HN up by 11.5 over NC prior to Placement round. Both have 4 champs thru 145.
decbell1
HN up by 11.5 over NC prior to Placement round. Both have 4 champs thru 145. I'm guessing that means 103-Hiers-HN 112-Randle-HN 119-Catron-NC 125-Newsome-HN 130-Mullins-NC 135-Rose-NC 140-Fellers-NC 145-Hiple-HN
jddown
Correct, Huechan must be injured or sick because he forfieted to Hiple.HN has Morton,Evans and Cooper in 1st place match. NC has Wassen
