It was 2-1 when quinton cut him, quickly took him down, turned him,  then "caught him"

abcd, this a false statement. oakley was winning in the third period 3-2 after letting memorial go, and getting a caution point against him. memorial shot in with 50 seconds to go oakley threw in a wizar and hung his head in exhaustion and got snaked. Therefore he was caught and you were 100% wrong on your earlier statements.

I believe you will see a few upsets this weekend at the SIAC tourney. The big one coming by way of team champions, Castle. MD will be struggling in the fight for THIRD. In this individual atmosphere with a strong Castle, Reitz, Memorial, and Mater Dei it comes down the most individual champs and who can fight back for third. I believe, MD will struggle with the combo of Castle, Reitz, and Memorial. These teams match up well and have beaten a number if not all/(Henderson) of the MD wrestlers. Reitz has also lost to a number of either the Castle or Memorial wrestlers.

I think Castle will win the team title with champs at 130/145/152/160/285

Memorial will be in second or third with champs at 112/140/189/215

MD will have champs at 125/171

Reitz will have champs at 119/135

Harrison will have Hall at 103

The battle for 2nd through 4th will be in the consos!

My totally incorrect picks are as follows: Reitz with 4 firsts, 4 seconds, 3 thirds, 2 fourths.; Castle with 6 firsts, 2 seconds, 1 third, and 1 fourth.; MD with 2 firsts, 5 seconds, 5 thirds, and 2 fourths.  I don't know how the points are scored for the team portion, but I believe Reitz will win with the most placers.  Feel free to contradict me.  Champs

140 Chamberlain

145 Welch

Why no love for Sims at 145?

He's lost to Welch before, but it was in OT. I say it's a tossup between the 2 personally, just comes down to who wants it more and who makes fewer mistakes. I say Sims takes it this time, avenges the loss.

Sims lost to the the Welch at 152.  He's down at 145 now and if he wrestles like he did against Reitz, he will lose.  He seemed to gas pretty bad in the Reitz match, but held on to win.

It's confusing looking at a Castle roster, you don't know which Welch, Doud, or Dougherty you're talking about without a first name.

it seems the team will always have brothers and twins on the team. Sims lost to 152 welch but has not wrestled the 145 welch. But i dont know how well he would do against him if he is gassing against reitz. It will be interesting

OK, if everyone else is going to pick...I might as well get my picks down.  They are most likely wrong, but I do see some upsets happening.  It should be a good week-end of wrestling!
