  1. Was looking at bracket and didn’t see him there. But my dumb self was looking at wrong weight class. Lol.
  2. Sorry thought he was at 220. Tough being out of state and keeping up.
  3. Sorry if this was said somewhere else but what happened to Castle’s Will Nunn who was coming into semi state undefeated if I remember correctly.
  4. I agree with the 2011-2012 group as well as with 2008-2009 group. 2011-2012 Nathan Boston, Stevan Micic, Tommy Cash, Sawyer Miller, Damon Kuhn, Conner Knapp, DJ Smith, Hayden Lee, Zach Davis, Jacob Brown, Mike Garza, and Jacob Cottey collectively have 27 medals in IN, 30 if you count Boston and Lee’s moves to Ohio and Kentucky, 7 IN state titles, 10 counting Boston and Lee out of state. Then add in their college accolades mentioned above and Kayla Miracle’s obvious resume. Very impressive group! 2008-2009 Kyle Ayersman, Bryan Kuhn, Mason Todd, Jared McKinley, Cody Phillips, Dylan Hall, Brian Harvey, Jacob Boomsma, Zach Stevens, Dusty Kief, Aurlieo Medina, Cameron Halsted, Todd Batt, and Abraham Que collectively had 28 medals in IN, 9 State titles in IN. Very impressive as well! Im sure these are some of the higher medal counts, but not sure if they are the highest.
  5. How controversial was the call? I guess what I am asking is should it have been called a takedown?
  6. I think he is saying he has a few wrestlers that weren't seeded at sectionals (probably in the top 4 seeds), but they placed in top 4 at both sectionals and regionals.
  7. I hope you know, no one thought he should have been a 4 seed (ended up with 3 seed cause hart scratched). I'm sure everyone was in aww by the result of the seeding meeting and the way it ended up being ran. I wouldn't doubt if all other coaches were in complete agreement that he should have been. But with the "criteria" used they had to put him there.
  8. Which Sectional gets more through? I'd say LJ Sectional, but I haven't seen enough of the twin lakes Sectional to give a fair prediction.
  9. Comissioner did it correct. (Basically no one else did) no idea why he was there though.
  10. The fact that some seeding meetings are using the criteria differently already makes it a flawed system for the entire tournament.
  11. 106 coon (see him making it to state) reagan (undefeated, but i think coon takes this one) brubaker devaney 113 patrick burge wade vanderwielen 120 anderson (state contender) mccartney flannelly lehr 126 betourne (see him making it to state) casillas (may surprise betourne) carmack worley 132 watson (favorite to win, in my opinion) mccoy strother erdman 138 (wide open weight class) merkel linder magallanes turpin 145 garcia conklin skees guffey 152 jones (clear favorite; see him placing this year) robinson ruble ruiz 160 (probably toughest weight in the sectional) krintz (i see him coming on top, and a good chance at state) kidwell adkins hart 170 fair ladd lopez wilber 182 jones stallings powell taylor 195 ford barron kidwell lambeth 220 crider (clear favorite) mcluckey foster ortiz 285 williams kern trent mink
  12. Yes, I agree completely. They also forfeited to Lafayette Jeff in their dual meet if I remember correct.
  13. I think faulkens was saying since Jeff had more wins over the field in Sectional bracket he gets 1 seed. Kidwell had next most, then delphi (only because krintz wasn't at the weight at the time). They used winning percentage after those were in place. I'm not sure, I wasn't there. Just trying to bring light to everything.
  14. I know there are some unfortunate seeds that panned out with the way the seeding meeting was ran. But what are some predictions or expectations this Saturday?
  15. Great analysis. I agree with everything for the most part, but I will have to give the edge to Anderson, just because he beat wright, and wright beat Johnson this year. I do see Johnson avenging his loss to wright though. It will be a great day of wrestling for sure.
  16. Can anyone post the results (match by match) of this dual meet? I remember back in the day this used to be a pretty big topic. Not as much anymore.
  17. Very tight team race between Plymouth (203) and Lafayette Jeff (215). I was very impressed by both teams at this tournament!
  18. Yes, he did twice. Lost to Cooper Samuels in the Evansville Semi-State semi finals in 2005 and lost to him in the finals in 2006.
  19. I understand it is a different year, but I'm pretty sure Lee and Coy wrestled in the semi's last year in the semi's with Lee pinning him in a little more than a minute.
  20. Hudkins and Willis will face in ticket round
  21. Betourne is tough. I think the only way white beats him is if he turns him. I don't see him turning him though, just because he is very defensive and strong on bottom. I feel that the match up favors betourne, but we will see. It will bra great semi final match.
  22. Looking at the brackets 120 looks really tough. Think it will be Anderson (42-1; loss to DeLapena at 126), betourne (42-5; 3 of which from anderson), white (28-1; loss was an inj. Default), ragen (27-6)
  23. Any predictions? Should be a great day of wrestling. I feel as if the Lafayette Jefferson Sectional will pretty well dominate, but there may be some surprises in there from the twin lakes sectional.
  24. 106 McCartney Coon Patrick Proffitt 113 Randall Mccoy Wade Lehr 120 Anderson Betourne Ragen Fadness 126 Watson Wade Erdman Casillas 132 Strawsma Alvarez (feel like Harrison will put him in, like conference) Magallanes Ingram 138 Lukaszka Krintz Ensign Robinson 145 Jones Morgan Cassell Ruiz 152 Grammer Kidwell Chase Glenn 160 Hart Ingle Simmons Hodgen 170 Mote Fair Puetz Ladd 182 Munson Mathis Lambeth Gary 195 (deepest weight class. All 4 should make it to semi state) Collins Kidwell Moore Conley 220 Baldwin Trent Crider Hall 285 Clark Rogers Trent Laborin Team Jeff (I think they will get more help from other teams compared to conference, the match seem to favor them) Harrison West Lafayette
