Midwest Wrestling Fanpage
You better move Mitch Sliga up that rankings at 189. He showed more talent at a big weight for a freshman than I have ever seen. He went 5-0 at the Brownsburg Invite with 4 pins and a Tech Fall. Very impressive looking kid. I seen him about 3-4 years ago and he looked good then....Man, has he improved....Watch out for him. It will be an exciting match If Sliga and Richards meet up a Fresh vs. Soph. These two have never wrestled Sliga was always smaller he is a solid 189lber. Also a great kid if they don't wrestle there look for them to get after it during the ISWA season. Sliga a 1st year cadet, Richards a second year cadet. . We will see?
redriderbbs
If weights hold as they currently are, then 125 will have some great matches with Wright, Keiffer, and Duncan.

I dont think Sliga has had a close match besides the one the other night with the Greenfield Boy, and it was 10-5 still a decent gap.
Drooke
Duckworth dec Sliga 8-2 (per AJ's post) ... I'm just sayin' ....That's why they wrestle the matches...
Midwest Wrestling Fanpage
Sliga would run Richards over. I dont think Sliga has had a close match besides the one the other night with the Greenfield Boy, and it was 10-5 still a decent gap. Strong words!! Just for your info the Greenfield Central kid was a regional qual. last year Richards was a Semi-State qual. from the same regionals Ian Early GC vs. P. Hosea Pike Winner fall 1:48 Richards vs Hosea Richards 9-2 Richards vs. Jones 8-1 that was how regionals played out so actually I would expect Sliga to do more against the Greenfield kid!! Another fact about that day Richards gave up 6 points to Jones on headlock attempts?? Don't ask me why he threw that many but it was still a good match that day. Sliga is a great wrestler like I said should be fun to watch. ? Who has Fishers wrestled besides Duckworth this weekend? Perry has wrestled about 3 ranked teams this year so far!! THAT IS WHY THEY WRESTLE THE MATCHES!!
GrecoCoach
caliboy189, This past weekend, Sliga also wrestled a state qualifier from Ohio (Div 1 Large Schools). Mitch beat him 5-0. Mitch has also beaten Sandwith from Evansville Memorial 16-4, who was ranked 5th at 215 at the time. It was rumored that Howenstein from Zionsville was going to bump up to wrestle Mitch, but that didn't happen. Early from Greenfield basically blocked and balled up against Mitch, which happens to every top wrestler at times. Mitch was up by 7 with 10 seconds left and gave up a reversal trying a quick tilt to get the major for the team. I apologize that Fishers, in its 4th year of existence, doesn't wrestle the same level of competition as Perry. Blame me for this, not the kid. Coach, I have never said one negative word about Sliga he is a great kid and a terrific wrestler. I was just sticking up for Andre. I do not believe he would get RUN OVER by Mitch. I never once said who the better wrestler is. I just stated it will be a good match or matches since they are the same age and size Now. Best of luck this year!! S and B wrestling
Richard Brown and Mark Brown both are from East Central.Mark has a shot of going to state this year at 171 and he is in the 11th grade.Marks record so far is 11-1.Richard is a freshman at 215.His record is 9-3 and that is including his heavyweight matches.I think that he can make it to State this year.So i think Mark will finish 2nd at 171 unless he goes to 160 and i think Richard will place 3rd or 4th.
