Perfect example of why we should have full wrestlebacks, at least at the semi-state level. Good luck to all this weekend.

They do deserve some respect for their accomplishment, but the coaches should also take strength of schedule into account when sectional seeding meetings start. Great wrestlers with 1 or 2 losses against top ranked kids often get seeded lower than kids who have wrestled nobody, and I have seen some pretty heated discussions over this at meetings for multiple sectionals. It all happens on the mat in the end.

Looks like the Marion County results will do some shaking up of the new rankings. With several teams at the Al Smith and Connersville tourneys during Christmas break, there will be several more possible matchups to add clarity to the rankings. Good Luck to all.

Whoever wins will be well tested and definitely worth a quality ranking afterwards. I think seeing ex-teammates (Corpe vs Stahl) go at it will be fun to watch. Thomas vs Travis will be a matchup of two more athletic big boys. Will be many hours of Great wrestling.
