Thanks to all the coaches who have reached out already. The more information we have, the better, so please send what you have and make sure that everything is posted on IndianaMat. If you are having trouble submitting that information, please reach out to me or Joe here at IndianaMat.
Question for you guys. Hobart plans on sending you our information on 12/10. We wrestle 5 duals on 12/16, do you want us to send you another email on 12/16 or just post results?

Any chance Snyder gives up their auto bid now that their only state qualifiers no longer attend that school? Without those two they aren’t even in the conversation for a bid. Three open spots would make the first few weeks of the season very interesting. McCutcheon and Hobart should wrestle at the Tom Cameron this year.
Any updates on this? Also seeing 4 teams ranked in the top 10 that are not in team state yet. Floyd, Greenfield central, New Pal, Hobart.
Unranked teams that are already in: Snider and Dekalb.

Little bias, but Hobart has some good ones. And if you have been to a FB game you know the line…

I don't see Thrine beating Hockaday at 132.
If Thrine goes 138, I don't see him beating Leavell, Ison or Shepherd. And I don't see Leavell running from anyone.
I also hope the rumor is not true and that Thrine is actually healthy. If he is injured, I hope he has a speedy recover.
Did you have him beating Frazier?

We can't regular burner cell phones from random area codes. If we allowed that, you'd see everyone signing up for Google voice for a 260 number. We have laws in Gorilla Land!
I'm sure there are a few on the list you provided that do not live in that area code officially lol

Does their school have a 219 area code?

All,
Last year we were blessed to get voted into team state. We had to drop out of a tournament to attend. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the vote in again this year. My athletic director is not a fan of dropping a tournament again if we get into team state. I was wondering if anyone else was dealing with this situation and how they are handling it. Are there tournaments put on the day of team state with the understanding that some teams will drop out or send a V2 if they are voted in?
Thanks for the info.
Thankfully the Lake County tournament has worked with us in the past. Hanover Central has a good understanding that we might not be there. Our AD has the same understanding and wants us to compete for a state title.

Well if you read the thread you know my stance this year. Looking forward to the Hobart vs McCutcheon dual. We also just added Rensselaer. We dual Chesterton, Valpo, Merrillville, Lowell, and Lake Central. All before the vote in...

Stevan Micic is a World Champion! Even though he'd already dropped the '21 Olympic champ and the '22 World Champ, the Japanese, Higuchi, that he faced in the final is the consensus most talented 57kg athlete in the world. Higuchi hasn't been able to stay consistently down at the weight since taking silver at the Olympics in 2016. He won World gold last year up at 61kg. But not this year.
Micic takes out a murderers' row and wins gold!!!
Micic = GOAT
