Rigney and Knapp will definitely be a match to watch for. These two guys are really solid wrestlers with great seasons thus far. But my gut instinct is telling me Knapp dec. Rigney 8-5.

He should have taken his talents to Ann Arbor. At least they know how to produce nat'l champs on a consistent basis. But I'm sure he'll get that NCAA title at MINN. Good Luck!

I agree. Elkins seemed to be one of my for sure locks for state this year. Sucks that he had to draw Jackson in the ticket round because there is no way in heck that he's gonna beat Jackson.

Also we'll see how many weak wrestlers come out of the westview sectional as usual. Thats like the Big East trying to compete with the SEC in college football. -
Whether we want to believe it or not, stalling actually helps people win matches. I think it goes too far when it is a constant occurrence during the match, but none of us can deny that stalling actually saves you for example when you are ahead by 1 point with 25 seconds left.

Should be a great finals match between Moreau and Nix. I'd also like to see Lefever pulling off the upset against Steury but i doubt that's going to happen.

I'm curious to see if Sliga is actually good enough to win Fargo titles in the junior division.

I think Moreau beats Batt in the semis. Look for Moreau to really turn it on this time of year.

Tsirtsis is so good that its boring to watch him. I mean why watch any of his matches when you already know the outcome? He's beyond anyone else in the state of Indiana right now. I'm sure he could go and compete and be an All-American in college right now. That's how good he is.

Anyone who thinks Boston would beat Brooks is delusional. Sorry, but Brooks is the superior wrestler and would win this match by more than 5 points.

I don't really think it proves much. But this is a really rare occurrence. If I had to compare it to another rare feat in sports, it would be the un-assisted triple play in baseball. I mean come on! How often do you see things like this in sports.

After watching both Batt and Roe the past couple years, its hard to choose a winner of this match. I'm saying it could be a toss up.

My junior year we beat a team 83-0. One of my teammates thought it would be nice to not follow suit and get a tech- fall instead. ???

This article shows how much the Media knows about the sport of wrestling. Not very much. For the most part i can say i somewhat agree with this article but i would also like to see some different wrestlers to watch for. Obviously, Brooks is a no-brainer but the other wrestlers on this list seem mediocre when you include them on a list with Brooks.

I was a 4 seed my senior year at semi state and I majored the 1 seed from the Peru regional. So yes i agree the Peru regional is weak.
