As a coach for Bishop luers I felt bad for Spencer. He is a good kid and would never hurt a soul. In my opinion he didn't do anything wrong. But that's a whole different topic. I'm glad to see Spencer still wrestled back to get 5th to get the alternate spot and I hope he gets his chance to wrestle. But yes that is one name from FW that I'm sad to see not move on.

Two things...1.) how in the heck does a Wabash kid get mentioned in the FW SEMI-STATE rankings? I saw him wrestle at that same 8 way he went 5-0 at and he was just strong.Strength will only take you so far in the state tournament. He didnt look impressive at all. All of the heavyweights were TOG's. I wouldn't brag about going 5-0 at that meet. 2.) Martinez stop trying to get yourself ranked in the Semi-State rankings and just go out there and wrestle. Doesn't matter who you have already beat. You still have to go out there and beat them again when it counts.

Bostick from Dwenger is at 170...he does look tough at 170 though. I saw him man handling Kody Jones from Concordia before Kody came from behind and won in overtime. It was a great match.

Let's not ruin the kid's moment. He's a state champ. Finally got over the hump that him and his brother couldn't get over. In my opinion this topic is pointless. Not tryin to be rude by any means. I mean it's the state tournament. He probably wasn't thinking. He is a kid that was pumped and ready to go win a state title. Let the kid enjoy his spotlight!

That's awesome to hear about kids that do that. This is why Ilove the sport. There are several humble kids out there!!

First off I want to say congratulations to one of Indiana's greatest wrestlers. Secondly I also want to know of I was the only one who got goosebumps when he teared up? That is awesome to see. Someone who is so good and so passionate about the sport. Class act by such a humble wrestler!!! I have never heard any negative comments about Tsirtsis. Good luck at Northwestern. Add a few national titles to your resume.

Here's my thing.....Tsirtsis wins by pin in the second but Cosgrove wins the danceoff. No one will ever beat him. Not even Chico Adams!!!!!

I know isn't isn't about Andrew Howe but who would win....Howe's sophomore year at 140 vs Tsirtsis? Howe's junior year at 152 vs Tsirtsis....

Tsirtsis wins a nail biter 8-2 and gives cosgrove both escapes.
