Silas Allred gets it done!  Pins his way through the bracket in route to becoming possibly the only 4X Spartan Classic Champ.  He also secured the Ed Collier Most Outstanding Wrestler Award.  Making him a 2X recipient of that honor as well.

Last year I went with my buddy and his kids to watch  his kid I coached ,Trizton and before we went he was wanting pay my way in..we get there and I see the price and tell him I got mine.. that 60 spot he dropped ws bad enough lol I get that it's a 2 day tournament but that's steep for large families..I seen a family of 9 walking in and almost started a go find me for them

I was literally telling Colts dad that Silas might be the only 4x Spartan classic champion toda.. I've never heard of 1..Brimm would be a great guess if he did wrestle there 4x..

Being Ranked top 3 multiple years negates you being a dark horse..Carson is a great young man and a stud wrestler.. Then Again you're right what a scrub of a state champion that just took a OSU Midlands 5th placer to ot.. must've only been the PB&J!

If a freshman gets a quality win over a guy already in the system how can you turn in the result if the freshman isn't in the data base yet?

With that said, 8 kids that were on those teams are wrestling in college. Keeping them relevant and ranked as high as possible put them on radars. 
 

I love what the young Crown Point program is doing. I bet most of us know their starting line up. Their fans are pumped and are promoting the hell out of their kids. Keep it up Crown Point!!!

@174 Blubaugh beats former Avon product Osho in a great match and loses 7-2 in a valiant effort to Darden Shurg..Osho is also wrestling damn good.

Never really understood this and was hoping someone else might be able to share the thought process here. Not a knock on the rankings, just a genuine question.

A lot of times those freshman might have beat those older guys in a summer tournament before the rankings are made and are taken into consideration.
