  1. Just making sure, but top six in each class at the regional qualify for the state finals, correct?
  2. Our second year at the event and loved it even more than last year which is a pretty high bar to clear. We lost more than we won in finishing 8th, but each one of our duels came down to the last match. Many kids on our roster will never make a deep run in the state series so it is great that they get to take part in something that intense and fun. It was an incredible time for our kids and hoping we can earn the invitation again next year. Thanks to everyone that had a part in organizing and working the tournament.
  3. Josh Birge of Frankfort over Labo of Vincennse Lincoln in 1998 for the title at 112 Rickie Clark from Brownsburg and Robert Samuels from Lawrence North in 2017 at HWT. I just wish the lateral that Samuels threw was caught on this feed
  4. Deleted, I'm not going to spout off and cause issues. I'm sure many already saw my argument but I'm not going to get involved and provide bulletin board material. I would love to see Winamac get in if it is felt they deserve it. Makes our sectional look that much better. I would also like to see Cass get in who was ranked for a bit and has some solid kids. Them getting in makes our conference look better.
  5. This kid is fun to watch. Has a lot of different attacks on his feet and do not go upper body with him. Saw several nice throws including one that took out the score board on Sunday.
  6. I think Heaston at 106 from Indian Creek is on the podium next year.
  7. I strongly agree with this statement. I was impressed with so many of the kids I saw this weekend.
  8. I hadn't heard about not needing one for both sessions Saturday so I already bought one. If I don't need it maybe I can hand it off to somebody that does.
  9. $30 unless I am looking at it wrong. 2 sessions Saturday and one on Sunday. Not to belittle your argument, I am just making sure I am looking at the same things you are to get your total
  10. original message deleted.....answered my own question.
  11. That would be Tom Flemming but I don't think he was ranked #1. For some reason I thought he was #3.
  12. hurt his ankle pretty bad in his first round match and nearly lost because of it. Wrestled pretty much on one leg in the ticket round and gutted one out. Still hit a nasty slide by and a couple low singles though. Defaulted the rest of the day.
  13. I'm just going for the hospitality room. Last year the lunch was amazing. Coaching the kids that we are bringing up is secondary.
  14. Just set this as my computer background. Great picture!
  15. Pales in comparison to the coach from North Central. I could see that from the nose bleed seats. A lot of effort has gone into that stache. Back on topic...Fowler was probably one of my favorite matches from the entire weekend. The last two matches of the tournament were fantastic. Too bad so many people left early.
  16. That is waaaaaay too much searching for my simple mind to grasp. I stand corrected. I don't search around enough on here to even know how to get to that page. Learn something new every day
  17. The final match at 170 seemed to last 45 minutes. But the last 5 seconds made it well worth the wait. Last second (or last 10th of a second) takedown by Calhoun steals the match. The super duck that LaPlace had in the first round was a thing of beauty. I think his opponent sprawled so hard he left teeth marks on the mat. I was very impressed with Cartwright from LaVille. He has very good balance for any weight, especially a big man. Also wanted to say congrats to Lafayette CC on getting what I believe is their first ever qualifier. This was a program that was discontinued only to be started up again just a few short years ago. They have produced some good kids in a short time.
  18. Moved out of state I believe. Ohio?
  19. Hopefully, if she sees this she does not think we are laughing at her. I think it is great and goes to show just how intense wrestling can get, even for the fans. You don't see this in any other sport. The song selection was spot on by the way
  20. sorry for anyone showing up late to watch after seeing what I posted. I was just going by what the channel said. I was a bit surprised to tune in at the end of the 152 match
  21. The youtube channel says start time is 3 pm
